You make some very good points, there's many things you said I really had not considered. While it is true that a lot of guys can take Ruslan's punch, almost nobody can deal with his aggressive style while going toe-to-toe trading shots with him. Just look at the Bradley fight, when Bradley decided to trade he almost lost the fight every time, and Bradley has a hell of a chin. Alvarado was toe-to-toe with Ruslan all the fight, also Rios could not even put Alvarado down, the guy has a chin.

Ruslan is a hard puncher but his style is extremely crude. Remember, he struggled against Mauricio Herrera. If Alvarado is focused, he can outbox him like he did with rios, but if he stands and trades, ruslan can wear him down. Alarados face also tends to get busted up which could play a factor.

Well part of Russia is in Asia and the other part is in Europe. In fact people always say that there's the European Russia and then there's Siberia which is like the Asian Russia, and Provodnikov is from The Siberia part, hence his nickname "Siberian Rocky". So yeah, he is Asian.

Pretty crazy how Alvarado outfought Rios in both fights for the most part and Rios got the big fight with Pacquiao and Mike had to take on this guy who was probably more dangerous at that point and with way less of a reward

If mike can stay technical use the jab and use provodnikov's aggression against him he could win and win big. If he doesn't stay technical he will lose by tko. I say that because he doesn't slip punches well and takes too much punishment to the face. Provod doesn't care about taking facial punishment and is very strong mike has to be at his best!
