Two things to note about the Revolution He-Man. First, he doesn’t share the same torso from the Revelation He-Man. The new torso is larger. For the biggest difference check out his traps. Revelation He-Man has a very weak neck compared to the new one. Also Revolution He-Man has new points of articulation that you missed, those being drop down hips. You can pull his legs down to get extra range on his hips that are a first on He-man. Overall I prefer the Revolution He-man. The extra armor parts for the New Eternia don’t really do anything for me but I like the head and the overall paint on the Revolution one better. His armor looks more like armor and he works more like a two in one with the classic armor.

Great review, it is amazing how much difference a new head and a few new accessories can make, also I think it's awesome that you and your dad are both colleting and enjoying something together especially a franchise from his generation.

well, absolutely everything is better on the new Revolution Battle Armor He-Man, the sculpt, the painting, the articulation, the head, and the face, even the axe looks amazing ... and you get two classic versions of He-Man in one figure. How is this even a question?

I still believe that the bearded head sculpt is the best so far from the Masterverse line.

I have an older armored heman and the one with only a loin cloth on. I like the head sculpt with the beard most from yours.

I'll say this, I prefer the new Revolution He-Man (never hated the NE but he's like at best a 7/10 for me), but I do agree with your ruling in this sense: Ne Eternia's a better Battle Armor He-Man. I think Revolution is much more a standard He-Man by design, and only came with the armor as a novelty, it was Mattel's way of saying "oops, we messed up in wave 1" a give us a better version of that, hell most promotional material FOCUSES on it having the harness. That being said, just to let you know, Revolution He-Man actually does have a new upper torso! It's not the standard Masterverse chest, not only is it broader & bulkier but it fixes most proportional issues on the figure! Hope the use it more often!

That being said I really loved your video, agreed with lots of what you said and to be totally honest the format reminded me of Secret Galaxy (formerly Toy Galaxy)'s versus videos which I miss dearly, would love to see more from you guys!

it lacks the sword and shield to be a true standard He-man, if you own other version with the accesories I guess is a no problem.

@@daniel79tj yeah but more and more He-Men are missing weapons, plus with the Wildor & Orko 2-Pack, Skele God, or even Prince Adam, you have many options on how to get the sword so I think it works. I'm just happy we finally got a new proportional He-Man and finally, FINALLY get 2 fists for him, not to mention such an upgrade to articulation! I know its controversial, but to me he defenitly surpasses even Classics in every category not named paint.

I agree. Revolution BA He-Man's axe and armour are much better looking due to the excellent metallic paint application. New Eternia BA He-Man wins in all other relevant categories (e.g. head sculpt, knife, beautiful shield, loincloth). Still prefer New Eternia over Revolution... 😉

Revolution has better Lore. I still don't know what the hell is going on with New Eternia. Castle Grayskull blew up or Disappeared and people are searching for it???

I get what you mean. Use your own fantasy to create a story... 😉Personally I don't care too much about the history, I just think the New Eternia figures look better.
