Please thank Marc for sharing his really interesting and odd occurrences in and around his cabin from the mid 70s, he was so fun to listen to what a character. What struck me about the area under his cabin was very peculiar. It's almost as if his cabin was perhaps built over one of the sasquatches burial sites. That very smooth spot is probably the actual site of one of them buried there, and those odds and ends were put there intentionally to create a barrier. As well the area in the back is probably as place for them to spend time for visiting one their deceased, maybe they've spend visits while he was out working or nocturnally. And a thank you to you, Sybilla for the cool sound effects it brought the story to life!

Thank you Jianita for your comments. Your right that there was something very special about that spot under the cabin. The reaction I got when I tried to clean up there was unmistakable ; Don't even touch this spot ! There was something going on for sure , and if it was a gravesite well that could explain it. What a scary thought. 😮

@@sketchingencounters That is a really good question. When we had our encounter the sun was going down, it was the time of day when a little light is in the sky but the forest was dark. When we looked over it was a GIANT and I mean GIANT silhouette standing right inside the tree line. The crazy thing was the eyes were self illuminating. I didn't tell most people that because they look at you like you have two heads. It looked like a soft white glow, golf ball sized eye and it blinked! The other two people with me witnessed it to. You asked for me to send you my encounter and I will when I get a free day. I own a shipping company in Portland that is extremely busy (thankfully :)) . I really like the style of your channel, something fresh on this topic.

@@sasquatch8923 Thank you for your reply! And yes! I understand what you mean by self illuminating eyes. I have seen them too. The first time in Honobia, Oklahoma. It was also white. @@sketchingencounters Oh wow. I don't know why but them being red would have really freaked me out. I'm glad they were white for some reason. At first we thought (my son was with me who was 18 at the time) it was a headlamp in the distance, but it didn't bounce like someone was walking with it. When it blinked I realized it was a lot closer then I thought. At one point I was frozen with fear until my son said "dad wtf is that?!" and I snapped out of it. I will contact you soon. Oh wow, this is just a bit north of where I live. My folks were up in that area near Horsefly Lake, which is up past Williams Lake, British Columbia in an off grid cabin a few years ago. They were on a lake up there and my mom tried to explain to me that she had heard one night what sounded like a woman screaming coming from the woods... but not quite exactly like a woman it was something else. It went on and on and was extremely powerful. Now my first thought as absolutely Sasquatch, but when folks have had their mind's closed to such things for so long it's almost an impossibility to get anything other than an eye roll and chuckle.

Hey Rozdor and thanks for your comments. Not suprised to hear about the wild woman screaming around Horsefly lake. That whole area in the interior seems full of it. I lived at Green lk and a few other places and sooner or later weird stuff happened. Hard to believe at first but wow when you hear or see one you never forget. I'm living in the Okanagan now and it's not as much but we still have stuff happening here. Interestingly to me is how similar so much of the stuff is from far distant places or times. There is a pattern of sorts to this so I wonder if there's a message ?

Thank You Sybilla for putting on a show like this; where I hope for you that this will be a valued enterprise in your life's bag of things that you have accomplished for the public, especially in this field of our big guys! Regarding this gentleman's story in BC. our big guys do have a sense of hummer, but it's not like ours, where they see things totally different than we do! I am just wondering if he now knows what he might be dealing with, as in a possible people of some kind!!! This gentleman's big guy had to have liked this gentleman Marc, very much to do all of those things that he was telling us about; where we all need to know that they can read us, as in they know if we are a good guy or not!!! They were using the underside of his cabin aa in sleeping under there, and they were mind speaking to him telling him, to leave that area alone! Yes, they do have a cloaking mode to where they can be fairly close to us, and we cannot see them... They were talking in their language, but we have to understand that they also know our language as in they mostly mind speak in that form! Yes, they do come inside of our homes, but I have no idea on how that happens. This one was in its cloaking mode but how they get in without opening the door is my question? Ha!! Too bad Marc didn't know what he was dealing with at that time!!! looking forward to Part II!!! One great encounter if you were to ask me! Thanks Sybilla! :-)

They say that Sasquatch can read your intention I rather think they can read your personality and character not just your intention and marc's encounters are not the norm! I wonder if this had more to do with these things, I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but he comes across as the type of person who has a good soul, and the soil under the cabin obviously is important to them in some way, could it be an entrance to somewhere? even though underneath a cabin seems a strange place to hide one but maybe it was built over it without him knowing it was there? thanks for sharing Marc 🙏🏻

@@sketchingencounters Mine was a flicker. After finding one flicker feather (bright orange) and wishing (I thought quietly to myself at the time) for more of that type of feather, the entire bird was there perfectly intact on a pathway I took daily very soon after. The list of feathers is lengthy, including two bird wings cleanly removed and laid out arching in the shape of a heart on my path. Also have had a blue feather at my doorstep here at my home, as well as two marbles on another occasion. After walking in the forest near my house singing a made up song about my dog, my child and myself, I later found three pebbles placed ontop of my child's stroller when I went back out to the driveway to put it away. I have dreams about them. I get a raven call almost every time I open my back door to the point I'm wondering if the ravens just watch my every move. Also have had odd, extremely loud owl calls in the middle of the night that scared my dog so badly he could not be coaxed back out and never asked to pee in the night again. There have been other bird call oddities and raven behavior oddities in the forest. I also came by a really fat frog, not quite dead, but looking badly squeezed in the middle of a logging road I was walking on with no marsh or swamp around. I got a weird feeling then. There is so much more, often things that have really made me go "hmmmmmm...how the...?". I live on Vancouver Island and over the years I have spent a lot of time alone in the bush (A LOT). Now that I have a child, it is less, but the subtle interactions seem more. I live on 20 acres surrounded by forest backing to mountains. On two occasions, the squeezed frog day and another weird triangulation of very loud bird calls (raven, eagle and then owl in quick sequence all around me), I would come across a bear on my walk shortly after. The bird call day, I surprised two of the largest black bears I've ever seen along the river. My young child had seen them first, they both stood up on their hind legs to wind us after hearing us. Was I being warned and remained oblivious? I'm not sure. I was getting such a feeling of being watched through the windows at night that I did make sure to put curtains up. I wish my body didn't respond with so much fear because I'm very curious and if I can be seen as a friend, this would mean a great deal to me. I love the wildlands and I intend to continue loving nature and raising my child this way. I was zapped in my bed one night last Spring and it is the only experience that now gives me apprehension because during the experience, I was terrified. It went on for 45 minutes and I had no use of my legs. It felt as though someone had a dial and was running electrical current up and down my legs, at some points it was so powerful by whole body was shaking fiercly and there was nothing I could do. Not muscle spasms. It was electrical current and it came with a feeling of fear and helplessness. It would grow stronger and then weaker over and over for different durations of time. I was so glad and relieved when it finally ended. The feeling that night was intense and had me sweating. There's more, but I am going to leave it at that for now.

Sybilla you bring a very powerfully supportive presence to this kind of interview ( interviews about liminal and often stigmatised experience). You allow a space in which to discuss the numinous edge of human experience without cynicism or toxic rationalism) . You show a sense of wonder which is the antidote to the fear and shame and dread. Quite amazing presence. Your artistic ability is a related form of validation. The numinous is a combination of awe and dread. You release the associated dread and enter into the sense of amazement.

Thanks Sam.... interesting about the turtle shells. I was in a swampy area in B.C. that was full of footprints and all kinds of feeding evidence. The most amazing thing I saw was where bf just drove his hand and arm straight down deep into the soft earth. No digging but just straight in 2 or 3 feet. Not sure what they were getting , tubers or frogs or turtles but you could see the knuckle marks in the soil. Just shocking to see a large deep hole in the ground and think of the power it would take to do that. I tried and could only get a inch or so deep. And how would they know just where to dig. They are beyond amazing. Thanks for your interest.😮

Thanks for your comment Austin... After spending at least an hour, and usually more asking the witness hundreds of questions, I create a first iteration based off of what I know. I use photoshop because if the witness tells me the eyes need to be farther apart, or bigger, it is easy to do in photoshop. (Instead of having to redraw it with each iteration). Sometimes it takes only 3 or 4 iterations, but there have been times when it take 12 or more. Once we get the face established, then we move on to the body sketches. Thanks again.

He can hear what the squashes are saying because they communicate telepathically. I’ve heard this before from other stories that numerous people will have the same thought at the exact same time and that’s the big foots giving them that thought. Some times they shake a tree or rock it so it's the only thing moving when there is no wind. They can shake a large bush to, only you can't see what shaking it. I think a snap of a branch or stick is there way of saying..." Im watching you". Gifting, I found a dead garter snake laid across a trail that I was walking on. Then a live painted turtle in the middle of a railroad track that was going the same direction I was heading. When packing up my spike camp two butterflies came into the campsite, one landed on my ALICE Ruk-sack and the other followed me closely down to the railroad track. There's more,...as I walked out of the Bush to a hard surface road I noticed some traffic going by. I looked down to my left at the ground and saw a Big Snapping Turtle not far from me looking to cross the highway. I spoke to it and said "Not a good idea to cross the road now " It looked up at me as if it understood what I said, then turned around and slid back into the dark brown tannin colored brook. Mind Speak was like your inner voice as it talks to yourself except I didn't think that, it was something else saying it. Strange but TRUE experience's.

The thing most noted is a feeling of doom or fear when they are around however I'm sure that in the same way they can induce euphoric feelings as well as feelings of love. At one time I thought they were taking my own feelings but just jacking them up like a amplifier. It felt at times like they would wait for a thought of mine and then jump in and amplify it if they chose to. Bear ? Yeah BEAR BEAR !!!
