I am not religious but Lindsey still manages to inspire me almost every day :-)
@perrylangley631910 жыл бұрын
This was interesting to watch from a non-religious point of view because it has helped to show me the joy faith can bring an individual and the guidance along with it, i have never been a believer in religion but hearing the story of someone I idolise and how religion has affected her has honestly made me think about how it could help me, returning to the joy i mentioned earlier, i often find myself saddened by my own lifestyle and the things i do, it seems to be that having this spiritual connection helps make you a better person, it gives you motivation, it helps to guide you on your path through life and it gives you fulfillment, and quite frankly this could be the thing i need in my life

Thank you for your comment! Yeah it's definitely been that for me. I was blessed to go on a mission too like Lindsay did and sure sometimes it's tough to live by that lifestyle but it really does ground you. For me knowing that God loves all has helped me a ton to keep going in life. My religion has given me tons of perspective too and I do know that I am where I am because of it. :)

I realize that your comment is from 5 whole year ago, but i was just wondering if your were ever about to find that true joy and happiness of the spirit of God? if theres any way i can help i am here and i have been called a missionary for church of Christ for a reason :)

Lindsey Sterling is so, so talented! Love her story and how she didn't let the judges from the tv talent show get her down by saying she wouldn't make it! She took her talent to youtube and is now performing around the globe! Such an inspiration to young women and youth around the world!!! Go, Lindsey!

I believe this video was a blessing from God during the time I felt the most lost. I couldn't look at a picture of me without feeling disgusted about my weight gain. I'm weaker mentally and physically than I have ever been before. Thank God, literally, for giving me parents who care. Thank God for Lindsey whose message really resonate deeply in my soul. Thank God for not giving up on me. Just because I feel ugly doesn't mean I am. Thank you God for this gift, and I'm hoping what Lindsey said was a gift to others too.

I watched and live tweeted the entire live session and it was fantastic! She truly is the best rolemodel for all!! Just awesome! #LDSFace2Face I knew a lot of this about her (which is why I have been a fan for over 4 years) but this was so heartfelt, authentic and wonderful. I really wish more young women in our world would follow her footsteps! Lindsey gives me hope that there may be people out there that feel the same as her...just hard to find them. You can be sure whenever my mind gets filled with toxic negativity, I will think back to this and WILL remember Lindsey's words! So powerful!!

Thank you for this presentation. I learned a great deal about how to find happiness within myself, which is something I have been learning about recently anyway. Lindsay is so inspiring and intelligent and has such a strong testimony of the gospel and her music is beautiful. Lexi sang so beautifully. I am convinced that she will be famous some day. Thank you to the pianist and to Sister Oscarson and Brother Beck for conducting the interview. I will be sharing this with several of my children who are all in their teens. You asked for suggestions on who you could interview next and the first people that came to mind are The Piano Guys. Someday maybe you will be featuring Lexi Walker on face2face. She seems so young to have such a mature talent. Thank you again.

That will not make me hate these people because I haven't experianced what they have, thats just rude and ignorant. ***** You are such an inspiration. To violinists. To dancers. To Christians. To recovering self harmers even. Literally watched the first part about your struggle with anorexia and just was so amazed at how much God brought you through. I mean that kind of thing is hard to get out of. It takes talking and stuff. You and I both know that. I remember when your assistant Jennifer Fletcher sent me that email about how you overcame all that. One of the most terrifying and amazing times since like you said I was scared that there wouldn't be much left but you really do realize that there is something good that comes back out of it once you take a step into recovery and remember that you are one of God's children. I hope to meet you one day or see you in concert again!

Neat video! The audience seemed a bit...stiff...lol. No doubt they saw this as a formal event. And I think it was a bit more formal than Lindsey is used to as well. But she remained relaxed and handled it all with grace, class and style. Her story telling's are great. And her music truly does bring out emotions, of sadness, of joy in people, at least in me. Like a journey of the heart. Causes reflections of memories, both good and bad. Often in the same song. I'm sure each person finds the meanings different. And it's interesting to hear what she was envisioning while writing them, what the song meant to her. And compare that to the emotional "story" the song had told me.

The Force is strong with this one. :) Strait to the heart and on the mark. - It is such a delight to hear you speaking spiritual messages that reach the heart and soul. - Remember young padawan to keep balance in the Force; :) for you are both terrestrial (physical ; of earth) and celestial (heavenly ; of Spirit ; spiritual). Keep a good balance between them for optimal health. (1co 15:40-47) May regeneration of the Holy Spirit be upon you daily., You have revived the prayer warrior in me, and you are in the peak of my prayer list; praying that the Holy Ghost does surround, comfort, protect and empower you; to even overflow of spiritual blessings to those surrounding, watching or listening. It is the LORD's power dwelling within that empowers us. Glory to God; And for creating someone like you that has been such a blessing to mankind.
