The NYPD has warned that two people are posing as car salesmen on Facebook Marketplace only to rob potential buyers and sellers when they meet face to face. FOX 5 NY's Richard Giacovas tells us where this is happening.

You gotta look at their reviews when you buying anything anywhere. If they have 5 friends on Facebook do not meet them. It’s fake. Nobody has only 5 friends on Facebook. Also if they hiding they face in the pictures don’t meet. Never take any cash in hand. If you’re selling something expensive offer to meet at a police station. If they say no then move on to the next buyer. I sell things all the time there but I know how it works and how some people can use it for the wrong thing.
