This is a wonderful tool! I live 1300 miles away from my grand baby. We spend a lot of time just hanging out with each other through the portal. I tell her stories, sing, dance, and even play hide and go seek. I also use it with my elderly mother. She says she forgets that I am not actually there.

Thank you for the assistance/video... we bought this we our 85+ year old grandparents & they'll be able to Facetime with their Children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren. I understand why people are concerned about privacy issues but these folks don't even buy things online, only own a landline, & the few apps the Portal offers are perfect for my grandparents, without overwhelming them. I will email both of these videos to them to understand how to use the Facebook Portal. Thanks

When I use video call or whatsapp on portal tv, other contact’s display does not fill up entire tv screen. Why is that?

I like the tech, not to concerned about the security issues unless it is a way for them to get into my bank account. Otherwise they have done a good job with privacy with this device.

I got this for my older Mom who watches a lot of cable TV. Will a call pop-up on her screen if she is watching Cable TV?

thanks .... one more question my friends have the galexy note 3 and others have other types of galaxy that are older .... and when they call me does not appear on my portal, I want to know if it only works with new phones because with iphone if you work for me, thank you for your help

Can you call their phones?if so you have to set your portal as your default when you’re home. I think I showed how in the settings in the video. Keep in mind that some older phone can’t download the newest apps so they will not work with new features.

I only used for this video, but I doubt anything would have auto accept, that breaks all privacy rules

I'm actually shocked that Microsoft didn't come up with the fact that the whole thing should rotate that would be the whole purpose of why I would be buying it because if you're on this side of a wall in the screens facing other way you can't see in the camera is a work the whole thing should rotate 360..... So my opinion total flop somebody came out with A360 they Dominate I'm sure someone makes one

It’s more of a player, you would need to use the app or computer for that. But there may been some updates since this video and I don’t have the demo unit to test
