thank you to the interviewer for such delightful questions and thank you Mr. Condon for being so open about his life and experiences. It felt more like a therapy session than an interview and i enjoyed that very much. As a neurodivergent myself, I related so many things Mr. Condon said and i am loving the album so much.

This is such a wonderful interview. Zach comes across as a lovely human being and the interviewer does a great job of asking meaningful questions and letting him speak openly about his vulnerabilities. Living on a small island 60 degrees north of the equator and having been through my own share of dark days psychologically too, listening to this was like therapy, so thanks to you both, and thanks for all the beautiful music over the years.

First time i have seen him, heard his music, i could sense all of these things he is talking about through his music. I have always imagined there is this kind of connection between him and his “fans”, me involved, but would like to call it something else. This video made me happy and sad at the same time just like his music. I don’t want to say more, he explains it great, just sending a hug to him and all the “fans” that has been going through similar things.

There is something much deeper for some. I felt that, too. Still feeling it. Would you like to connect in some way?

Thank you for sharing your experiences and for this super intimate interview Zach. I've always felt a sense of kinship with you in an "island" sort of way and it makes sense why your music has always given me comfort and companionship in my solitude. I hope you're in a better, more stable place in life and I hope we can continue to find ways to keep the childlike wonder alive.

I've loved this new music as much as i love Scandinavia... good to see a nice new interview with Zach sounding wise and able to face his traumas. The FC interviewer really well prepared and professional as usual, too.

Thanks for the kind words. Obviously Zach was very open and candid which makes for an interesting conversation I think.

@@FaceCulture He opened up because he felt comfortable with you, same as Passenger, for example. Zach is a living proof that to be unique and really interesting, you need to be detached from reality a bit. As he says, it is unhealthy, but if you listen carefully to how the songs are constructed, he creates magic. I think this is so much better and rewarding than being rich, popular but mediocre.

Wonderful interview. I love this album and hearing about its background was fascinating. And I could relate to Zach's issues a lot, love that he's very honest about it.

His music really inspires me to travel and it's quite ironic he isn't much of a traveler himself. I always pictured him traveling the world with his back pack getting inspired by what he sees and hears.

Did he just say no concerts? I just bought my tickets for the show in Berlin in February 2024 😮

he was saying in another interview that he'll do the February concerts in Berlin and go straight back to norway, so you should be fine :)

could anyone shed light on what Zach means when he says 'dying of self-awareness' ? is this like a crippling self-consciousness?

You are so worried about how you appear to others and how every move you might make will be commented by others and it freezes you.
