Let her go was the key that opened the door, not for Mike, but for many of the rest of us. It opened the door for us by introducing us to this genius singer/songwriter. I never, before that song, knew who he was. His music now is automatic, the go to music in my car

Mike David Rosenberg is my favourite song writer. His songs are so beautiful, like the one you listen to while watching a sunset. Created a space where you can sit back and introspect. Love all his work.❤️ India

I'm pretty surprised that his speaking voice is quite "deep" in comparison to his singing voice!

I know! It is a pet peeve of mine when peoples singing voice is modified. I used to experiment with that sort of thing as a teenager. It kind of reminds me of playing a guitar backward or doing comedy with a piano: sort of gimmicky... It would.be different if he used it occasionally to enhance the music, but he doesn't ever use his true voice, constantly putting pressure on his throat to release that elf sound.

I love his song. I let her go to be free with out me. I let her go without a fight or even an argument. I told her from the beginning that she was not for me but that I was blessed to have ben loved by her and that I would hold her for the time that we would be together. That planted the seed in her mind in out hearts. I always believed it then she did too then the time came and I let her go. And that is why I love this song. Unfortunately it's been over 26 year now and I can still feel our last kiss like it just happened a minute ago.
