emotions are everything, you cannot unlock true intellect without experiencing and controlling all of your emotions. Lack of doing so will get you in trouble. i expiremented with hardship as well and it trained me in emotional control better than anything ever before. i am bipolar and conquered it through self-awareness. many refer to alex as a genius when he is simply and artist, as am i. Intellect comes from attention to detail, emotions distract from detail. art is detail

Intellect can never share with us the greater knowledge of the universe. Our intellect is only the tool that allows us to convince ourselves of what we perceive. It is when we give up rationality and conviction that the true nature of the universe will be revealed. It is when the ego is shed from our spiritual selves that we can really understand, rather than trying to convince ourselves of what we understand. When we stop defining and dividing everything into parts we will see the whole. When we stop attempting to understand what happened in the past and what will happen in the future, time will mold itself into one "visible" dimension and will be seemingly infinite - a loop. This is what awaits us at death's door - the break from the ego and infinite knowledge without rationality. Listen to your instincts and break yourselves from the bonds of a total rational reality for this is not your reality - it is the collective reality of what everybody deems acceptable. Attempting to build a belief system to perceive reality based in rational terms can drive anyone mad. The greatest thinkers and inspirations of this world were the ones to break from what is rational and attempted the seemingly impossible and irrational. These aspirations are what have lead us to the evolutionary climax we are currently apart of and will usher in the new age of evolution.

our body is a bag of chemicals but you create, that is your evidence of a consciousness. your question should be, what is the essence of consciousness? only you can answer that and when you do, you will know when you are right. Promise

Belief is everything we have, therefore it is holy. Total faith to one specific religion is in my eyes ignorance. How could god expect us to figure out which religion to trust, in this maze of religions, all making sense in their own way. God only expects us to find our own way. Im not saying religion is bull, cos its not. Read and learn about religion and it will open new doors, as long as you stay open minded to everything. The only way, is our own way, so dont fear that it is the wrong way:)

I'm a big fan of Alex, but I really don't agree with him at all here. He's basically admitting that his view is entirely based on emotions rather than intellect. It's also "more fun" to believe that I have a nine inch penis, but I'd rather be honest with myself than ignorantly entertain my emotions.
