She used to be so deep and wise in her interviews... It's sadly a bit ironic when she talks about people obsessing over their appearances here, it feels like she became a little like the people she described :/ She seemed like she was much more herself when she was younger. Just seemed... Authentic.

@Amanda Starseed What are you even talking about? To me you seem like a typical very jealous little girl.... Simone has both very deep philosophies and also more superficial occupations in life. You mind? Simone is a beautiful woman that is the lead singer of a heavy symphonic metal band and she has the voice of an angel. And yeah she also likes fashion and feminine make-up stuff and beauty products and even healthy cooking. She is a very feminine woman and a mother of a young boy and she dares to be herself in all her facets even when people like you critisize her for it. If she doesn't fit your idea of what a metal woman is supposed to be like than that is your problem not Simone's. I respect Simone infinately more than salty opinionated girls like you. I'm sorry if I offended you, but I wasn't disrespectful at all. That's just my personal opinion, I don't want you to agree with it. If you have a different opinion than mine, that's fine, people are different from each other and I respect that. Simone is a funny person, beautiful, talented and healthy, that's what matters. I just wanted to show my personal opinion here and I want everyone to disagree with it as this is how people should be, different from each other. Peace and love.

@@hansolo2121 Ok... Calm down. I have nothing to be jealous of, the way i see it. I had my fair share of the music industry as it is, and it's not at all what you think it's like. I don't think you understand what i'm hinting at here. Anyway, i don't see musicians and artists/singers as gods or such, so i apologise if i offended your queen. I thought she was very cool when she was younger, (incredible even) i had alot of respect for her, and now not as much. Does she seem passionate talking about philosophy these days? I never hear her talking about deep topics anymore, not like she does here, there's an openness about her here in this interview that seems to have completely vanished in recent years. Perhaps she still has that side, but my point is that she seem to hold herself back in interviews now, and it gives off a weird vibe imo. You're just nitpicking my comment and attacking me because you think it makes you morally superior or something, because you got the wrong idea of me, or because you cannot stand that someone has something slightly negative to say about your favourite idols, no matter how fair and nuanced it may be. For heaven's sake, i said i used to admire this woman. Maybe because i actually did? And i don't think anything of what i said was invalid... But i know people like you don't accept anything but praise no matter what regarding the people you adore/worship. Besides, you can admire/love someone AND give them criticism, just because you criticize one or two things a person does doesn't mean that you're jealous or that you hate that person. I see people as what they are, human and flawed. I like to analyse people, and sadly my observations often turns out to be right (but of course they can be wrong) I see what i see, and it is disappointing to me, pardon if that upsets you. I don't wish her any harm, i'm just sad about her change of persona. No more no less. Can't i be allowed to? Do you have to make a big deal out of it? I don't expect you or anyone to agree, but why can't i lament my disappointment without being attacked? It's not ok to demonize someone just because they don't share the same opinion about your idol, and call them petty things for sharing a heartfelt but civilized opinion. It's very disrespectful. In today's cancel culture crap you can't even be honest anymore. Think of me what you will. You are entitled to your opinion, and i am entitled to mine. Either way, it doesn't matter. Your rant sounds far more hostile than my comment anyhow. And btw, i was not at all referring to the silly things you mentioned. I'm not that petty, jeez. A piece of advice: You don't have to be so hostile in your approach, i would have got the message loud and clear even if you had kept down the obvious hostility a bit.
