Mother's death took a big toll on Martha Wainwright

After the death of her mother, folk singer Kate McGarrigle, singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright had a rough time. Like her brother Rufus, she processed her grief through music. "Generally I'm an upset and angry artist", she says.

Her Dad wrote a song with many similarities to All Your Clothes about his Dad, Martha's Grandfather. I can't remember the name at the moment. Martha's Proserpina is spectacular. I must hear the author's version. I believe I am ready and prepared for it.
