I have been using the recovery recently and I like it. It's so flexible when I tie up I can pry and get my top rail under pretty easily. It also keeps it's shape well

@@12sellecful I agree, the Recovery is great at slipping under and prying off your opponent’s top rail when used properly. Most guys struggle with the Recovery because they don’t know how to use it to their advantage, causing them to get pushed off the ball against a stronger traditionally flexing head. If you know how to use the Recovery the right way its a silent killer

I personally use both heads. I use my main as a 2f, specifically for a true plunger in and out. The burn fo recovery is great against a 2f as the rail tends to push the weapon x, duel 3, and most traditional heads off. If you a pure speed guy use a 2f, but my buddy who plays NCAA D2 uses a og burn. I usually tie up against him so a burn fo recovery is more useful in that situation. it all depends on who I go against, if I am faster than my guy I use a 2f for its offensive prowess and ability to throw consistently for the fast break.

@@andrewmoon7374 Lots of great points here, especially where you say it depends on who you’re going against and how the head performs after the faceoff. I love using both heads and I think it’s crucial to be able to use both types if your opponent is matching your reaction time. We can almost relate faceoff heads to different golf clubs. You don’t see pro golfers playing rounds with just a driver, they carry multiple clubs for different situations. In our case, the different situations come from the type of opponent we’re going against, what head they’re using, etc. Fantastic comment!

What I like about the recovery is that it is a great oblique flex but with the face flex it’s too easy if you power clamp to get the left rail to the outside making it not pinch down enough for the exit. This was shown were instead of the face flex side going into the head it slips outside making it doo doo for exits then
@Gklplus2 ай бұрын
@@Jelqmaxxer678 Absolutely. I try and teach guys to not try and face flex the Burn’s because the problems that come with it, just like the example you mentioned with exiting. If you can keep the Burn’s in a traditional flex they feel great

Bro long time fan... Pls just do a review of the duel 3 pls I legit promise once I break it in its just like the duel 2 with just a few different flex points. I want to see your thought on it and I wanna see what you guys can do to it

The real question is do you like the CEO or the 2F better?
@Gklplus2 ай бұрын
@@z_thornton Short answer, both. Long answer, I would use both depending on the situation. I’ve always liked rotating between a head like the CEO and then another head like the 2F depending on who I was going against, what my opponent was using, how I was feeling going into the game, etc.
