Good documentary and very encouraging to see that an African President can retire promptly and continue to positively contribute to society in peace and not live too luxuriously. What a life well lived by Dr Sam Nujoma. Keep up the good courage!

Interesting doco, I guess to the victors goes the spoils. The doco fails to talk about the Russian forces and Cuban forces on the ground in Angola pushing attacks into Ovamboland. It fails to talk about weapons and incursions coming through Angola. The doco doesn’t talk about oil deals being done in Angola that saw the US pull away it’s support for South Africa fighting communists. So many holes in this doco. In 1989 I was in Windhoek and don’t recall any segregation. I associated with a coloured SWA police women and associated with journos from the Paper. The doco doesn’t report on the thousands of black troops who fought against Nujoma so called freedom fighters. Very one sided story and what’s changed really?
