He represents a bank. His job is to run a profitable company. They offer low-income programs but the lack of affordable housing is not something he controls - that was a ridiculous question. They provide mortgages and loans - they don't control housing prices. And it's a joke that everyone always says "you're there to make money". That's true! It's a company. It wants to make a profit - nothing wrong with that as long as it's done fairly.

HAVING MONEY OR SPENDING MONEY. HOWEVER WE WERE RAISED BY A SINGLE MOTHER THAT WAS VERY AFRAID OF MONEY. OUR DECEASED MOTHER STELLA WAS VERY AFRAID OF MONEY. SO FIRM RISKS THAT COULD HAVE PAID OFF OVER TIME WERE NEVER TAKEN. I FIND IT SAD BECAUSE MY MOTHER'S TRAINING DID AFFECT HOW ME AND MY SISTER'S HAVE DEALT WITH MONEY. HARD HABITS TO BREAK. PEOPLE BE AFRAID TO TAKE RISKS. I AGREE DEALING WITH MONEY IS ABOUT EDUCATION YOURSELF ABOUT MONEY. BUT THE HARD PART IS GETTING PAST THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL BLOCKS. I PERSONALLY KNOW THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE POOR BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID TO HAVE MONEY.

It is possible to produce electricity without fossil fuels or nuclear power plants. The Edison generators use the field magnets to move the armature magnets and coils of copper wire with inverters and transformers to move the armature magnets and coils of copper wire in the dynamos with inverters and transformers can deliver any amount of current high voltage AC power continuous peak power to the power lines without fuel or pollution. Enough power plants can be built to replace very high voltage AC power lines and nuclear power plants eventually as we agreed to in Treaties instituted by scientists to initiate survival and enlist the military ratified by Congress and USSR.

A great bill to write our U.S. Congressman or Senator is for Uncle Sam to award all citizens, perminant residents, and foreigners here on work visa's $50,000 after 36 months of full time work, part time and volunteer work included in the sum total (2 months part time equals 1 month full time) whenever the citizen is ready to purchase a home. This is a Grant, not a loan. Along in the same bill the citizen, perminant resident, and foreigners here on work visa's will receive $200,000 in a lump sum after 100 months of full time work, part time and volunteer work included in the sum total. This is a Grant, not a loan. The printing and issuance of money is validated by labor, production, goods or services for society. Also in another bill a mandate on U.S. Banks to pay their depositers at least 85% of all interest collected, according to the average monthly or quarterly account balance, because it is the depositers money that was loaned out to begin with. Along with the same bill a limitation on total taxation of the citizen to 9% excluding social security and unemployment. No more than 3% federal income tax on taxable income. LLC and corporate tax eliminated. No more than 3% state sales tax. No more than 3% local taxes.

Fantastic questions by Margaret, getting to the point and asking the difficult questions that are not normally asked. Dimon is a cool guy, but he is the biggest politician CEO there is (wouldn't be surprised if he ran for office after banking). He tells you what you want to hear about community and lifting everyone blah blah, reality is that they're trying to give high interest rate loans to the poors, since all the rich are flushed in cash from the past couple of years of easy monetary policy they've cashed in on skyrocketing stocks and real estate and gotten near near zero percent loans locked in for the next 20 or 30 years... But now, with high interest rates, they have no interest in taking out loans, and instead are buying bonds and CD's and waiting with cash on hand for an opportunity during the next economic downturn, whether to buy real estate, stocks, or a business.. Meanwhile the poor will now be duped into buying homes and taking out loans at all time high valuations, with 20 year high interest rates, just in time for an economic downturn and will be left holding the bag! Story as old as time.. The rich dumping on the poor.. then the rich will buy the poors properties back for pennies on the dollar.. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Dimon and his friends laugh all the way to the bank with this one.. HA HA HA (but it's all about lifting the community guys)
@frenchonion45952 жыл бұрын
This is an example of crony capitalism. Why would he be concerned if low-income debtors can pay back loans when the government will bail out the big banks like they did in 2008. Indebting the poor is no risk to him. This is why everything is jacked up in western countries. These banks give out crazy low interest loans to everyone raising housing value's etc to insane levels when they know there is not enough capital floating around to actually justify those prices but once again, they are not concerned because they will get bailed out

I hope not. I trust literally no one, all I hear or read I aim always yo treat at “data” not accept anything a mere face value or make conclusions soon (or ever, even if I must act before I’d like to). This man is a businessman in a capitalist biz, and NOT I think a believer in oligarchy or feudalism 2.0 (I hope). The USA & world markets Chase is highly dominant in, are huge…. But what he argues here works in practice in dynamo, direct-democracy, rich SWITZERLAND, where they DO agree that the welfare of those at the top and (average=rich) “middle” depends on ALL. having enough to love off. It’s #1 self-interest; #2 morality, which Swiss (German speaking cantons anyway) prefer to call “LOGIC” when I tell them it seems “kind.” Maybe they mean morality qua rationality from philosopher Immanuel Kant. Don’t know, but admire the Swiss enormously… best nation in the world even if it isn’t “perfect” and it’s people caution me against ever thinking anything is (not needed, I know all humans everywhere are inherently fallible: again, another reason I love Switzerland and have for close to 45 years).
