@isorockish Hi! I'm not aware of any particular name, however Peter is a big fan of "traditional animation", by Disney in particular. The term "traditional animation" just refers mainly to the technique, not style.

I can't help but think that this is how Heck and Kirby came up with the mask for Iron Man? They got half way through the creative process and said "we're done"! I really enjoyed your tutorial. It was easy to follow. I did a "tutorial" video a little while back but it's more of a step-by-step, this is literally what I do. After watching your video I followed the steps and produced a much more realistic looking head shape! I have continued this comment on my blog. Visit my profile to find it!

Artist all have a different style so there really isn't a specific style that your looking for. You best bet would be to look for other artist that draw like this. Don Bluth is a great artist you should check out.
