And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Total arrow weight is 435 grs. 50 grain insert, 100 grain head. I cut my arrows 27 3/4" from the end of the nock to the end of carbon. 300 spine arrows tune perfectly for my specs. 29" draw, 70 lbs. - Dan

Heck yeah thanks man! I score everything big or small...he grossed 345. What helped me is if the bull you're judging doesn't have an outstanding feature to be freaky big then start off judging the frame based off body size and other elk, then time length, beam, length and mass in that order. If a bull has a frame that looks big compared to the rest of his body, he's probably going to score well if he's a complete 6x6 with decent time length everywhere. -Dan

When you were wiggling the arrow it sounded like there were gas from him being gut shot and for the 3.5 hours you waited plus over night the total hours with the hide on would roughly exceed 10 hours was the meet still good

A make shift bow scabbard top packed on the best mule for this hunt. I prefer packing it on my back while riding but it takes the right backpack. -Dan
