I like the mechanic, but I don't like that it's per character. It would be much better to just upgrade the placement slots so whoever is on the spot gets the buff, and have many levels of upgrades so endgamers have something to continue to farm for. The way it is makes it feel Awful the moment a character gets power crept and now all the upgrades you used on their positions are worthless

Yup, I wish they made it at least for elements or types, rather than specific units. It looks easy enough for now, when i only have 1 unit upgraded, but will become problematic as I upgrade a lot of different units for sure!
