I'm 60 now and I saw these guys live twice, but nothing compares to seeing this magnificent performance. They can still bellow and to have their hometown orchestra playing with them, what a thrill it must have been for the lads.

George Martin would agree that these OMD songs really become epic with the Orchestral arrangements. He probably would have had OMD only do their debut recordings this way like the Beatles. The only problem is that it would have changed their sonic profile dramatically and possibly not getting air time.

Thank you for posting, its pretty interesting. Sorry, but there is no more item i love about electronic music. All songs (and many more) are brilliant but I don´t want to hear them this way. Anyway, OMD always tried to do things in a different way and that´s ok.
