Thank you so much for teaching the box method was really easy I love Algebra a lot it is my favorite subject I am taking geometry next year I got a 99 in my first semester of Algebra really good video at first I didn't understand the box method but you explained it really well Thank you so much.

If it has a gcf i’d recommend you factor that out first.

For number 4, couldn’t you factor out the GCF? 216 and 1000 are both divisible by 8

Yes that is a good first step. My main intent for this video was to demonstrate factoring using the sum or difference of 2 cubes but as a general rule I recommend factoring out the gcf first.

This drives me crazy. So I fully understand how to do the problem when the initial variable is actually a 3. But in our homework we have 1 problem with the variable as a cube. Then the rest are like 16y^12….. I cannot find any examples of what to do to manipulate the problem correctly…
