Like this comment if you want the extended video for factoring trinomials!!! I’m trying to balance making these extended videos with making new KZbin videos and that balance all depends on the demand for the extended videos.

Thank you!!! That really means a lot. I'll admit, I've been really bummed out about how my videos have been performing. I hope they get some traction in the near future. I'd appreciate if you could share this channel with anyone who could use it!

@@LudusYT you do realise it's MATH, so....not like your target audience is as broad as funny cat videos, it's literally the most hated subject on earth, so no wonder people don't wanna adhere to it.. but with time and patience you'll definitely get more traction. Good job, helped me out a ton!

@@LudusYT In addition to your descriptions, I think you need to add some tags (eg. #factoringquadratictrinomialsbygrouping and such).

Better method: Ax² + Bx + C = 0 Mid: B/A * -½ U² = Mid² - C/A U = √(Mid² - C/A) x1 = Mid - U x2 = Mid + U
@LudusYT2 жыл бұрын
That seems way more complicated, but I’ll admit that’s probably because it’s my first time seeing it.

@@LudusYT At first it does, but once you get the hang of it, it is way faster. I've joined your live streams on TikTok and solved 'x' 2 to 3 times faster than you. Granted you're teaching others & slow down, but I've gotten to the point that I can solve in my head easier than quadratic formula. It's still the quadratic formula but in a different format.

Last problem solved: 10x2+89x-9 .... -1 + 90 are the numbers that both added make 89, and multiplied make -90 , so that gives us.. 10x2 +1x | +90x -9 10x (x-1) | -90x - 9 [because I saw at 15:34 you decided to factor out a negative 2 instead of positive 2, I thought I can do the same] (10x-1) (-10x-1) Answer: (10x-1)(x+9) [because two negatives make a positive] Nothing makes me feel more like an idiot than trying to make logic from math equations, pls let me know if this makes any sense, thank you.

Would it be possible for you to make a video on why the factoring by grouping process works the way it does (in a way that makes sense)? Everyone tells you to use it as an as a means to get factors -- but they don't explain the mathematical logic behind it. Thanks.

How do you find the pairs that will give you the numbers in the middle?
@chocolateangel874310 ай бұрын
When using Factoring By Grouping, multiply coefficients of the first term and last term together. Find the factors of whatever number you get, such that they add up to the middle term. You have to remember this in order to successfully use this method.
