I went back to my game thinking "Look at these dinguses, I KNOW I can do better with my own factory. I'll make everything neat, linear, organized. I'll take what I learned from their mistakes and improve on everything." A few hours in and I have a pile of junk that looks like garbage next to sips' super production line.

It's actually pretty simple, just do big lines, lines of furnaces, lines of constructors or whatever they're called, lines of those research domes, just all straight lines, keeps it clean and simple

Hmm- Name you say? It's easy at the start, you have a nice big line of iron. But where it gets confusing is when you realize you have 5 different places that need that iron. Inevitably you start having to criss-cross the lines so that the materials get where they need to

@ sips For the solar panels to make any difference, yes, you do need to mass produce them. They don't generate that much power unless you have an obscene amount of them.

+Mitch 013 The game isn't really that hard or long. When you put mods that make you mine not only copper and iron but also tin, aluminium, nickel and lead and many other it gets interesting. Also many recipies are made harder with the extra resources required. Robots are mandatory just to get anything big built.

+John Python $20 is cheaper than PC Minecraft. This game was inspired by the Industrialcraft 2 mod for Minecraft, which was one of my favorite mods for Minecraft. Check out Thermal Expansion, Buildcraft, Mekanism, and Big Reactors to get an industrial feel. Minefactory reloaded has transport belts too, I believe.
