Well that kinda renders this entire lets play futile then. They'll never ever be attacked by anything. Where's the fun in no potential for massive disasters and panic? Thats the yogscast way! Now i'm sad. 19:25 "they're non-stop!" Yeah, except for when you dont shoot them, then they stop :p

You can use repair pads by holding down the left mouse over the (placed) object you want to repair. You also can't switch to weapons that have no ammo like 22:45.

Place the radars around your base not in one big hep because 1: you can see aliens coming to attack but it has a range of 10 squares 2: It doesn't reveal the whole map, just about 80 blocks So place one in each conner of your base :p so it will reveal more shit

+Matt Fiske AKA cop out mode. Non peaceful mode is much harder, my alarms are constantly going off and you need to keep feeding like 50 turrets all around your base with ammo. And you need to build walls around your base. Once you get to the point where you have lots of power and can afford like 100 laser turrets you're pretty much set though, nothing can get in. destroying bases is very easy in peaceful mode tooo, in normal mode you can barely get up to them without being attacked.

+Shinji Ikari bugs are fairly easy to kill if you have explosives and tanks. Also, gun turrents with shitton of ammo kill them pretty well too.

Lasers are better. Easier to supply by miles. And Sipsy wasted SO MANY artifacts there. And they still need to get shells and armor for Lewis!

That's offense, not defense. For attack, tanks rock. For defense, laser turrets for days. And the waste was when he died while carrying a bunch.

Shinji Ikari If you kill everything in a radius as large as your pollution you will hardly be attacked at all. But yes now I get the waste part. Not so much the alien waste because I always have more alien artifacts then I can use, but thats because i've used about 4k steel in tank shells.

+Chris Stachon That's actually the most effective way to use a tank in this game. Both kinds of shells are garbage and the machine gun is only useful against smaller aliens. But even then if you've got a large alien nest full of worms tanks are pretty much useless. Whilst tanks can just over spawners with ease, large numbers of worms will make them grind to a halt.

Really wish they weren't on peaceful mode. It really does make the game wayy easier. Look how close Sips is at 13:30 and 13:50. Normally they start attacking you once you are like a quarter of a screen away fully zoomed out!
