@@D64nziirc there was not any _real_ distinction in what makes a Swastika Buddhist or German (or other cultures'; the shape is rather universal). Both used it in either direction, even if the German one is proscribed one way. I recently finished a 9-tile ribbon world and I used a SINGLE looped belt for everything. I used circuits to control how much of each item was allowed on the belt at the one time and It was pretty hard work getting the item numbers right(ish) so production was relatively smooth. Took me 60 hours to launch the rocket!

@obsidiyon139226 күн бұрын
And yet another person beats Factorio with a heckin' meme build while I've still yet to launch a single rocket... Though, the sushi belt concept gives me an idea to try using something like Programmable AI Vehicles (I think the mod was called?) with its huge cargo trucks and large cargo depots (If I have the right building?). The cargo depots have built in circuits that allows you to set what items and quantity to pull to the depot and what items to push from the depot. I was thinking if I made a "race track" of depots where desired resources are dumped off, run through what ever process, then the refined/new product dumped back into that same depot, with a series of cargo trucks picking up and dumping off things as they make laps around the track could be almost be effective (mostly because of the depot filters are only grabbing what's needed at a given depot, thus side stepping the time and effort of sorting through unwanted items). My thoughts are that the system may clog if all trucks fill up with unwanted/not currently needed items, or if a depot is so full of input that it can't out put product and that product never gets to circulate to the rest of the track. May also be interesting to throw in a stack size mod, so the cargo trucks and depots are handling truly epic amounts of cargo (1,000 ore/plate/intermediate product per stack anyone?). I might also try that Transport Drones mod by Klonan I think it was? Transport Drones would be interesting because not only can they not fly, but you actually have to build out roads, cargo depots, and fuel depots for them. The benefit being their filters that can take exactly what you want, to the depot you want, with much higher capacity than regular flying drones.

Why does no one have the idea to do this with a Kidney-like setup? Rather than measuring the specific number of items on the belts, measure the saturation on the belts. Use the lower tier belts before the production nodes for a single tick to create space on otherwise full belts. And have some deposits, where excess items are stored until they are needed, where they are taken from with priority. Mimic the functions of the IRL Sushi Belt, the circulatory system. Input nodes similar to the lungs. Storage/deposit nodes similar to bones and such. Kidneys to keep everything from getting clogged or oversaturated. Mix the 3 different types of belt to create belt space where it is needed.

I don't uh know if it was just for a gag or not, but you can place blue prints down while holding shift and it will automatically set environment stuff blocking the placement to deconstruct, it will even place waterfill and then build on the new land in 2.0

I don't think that's more efficient at the temperatures that the coal boilers give and they're significantly more expensive than normal turbines. Their purpose is to be able to handle what the powerplant gives out. Not to be an upgrade to the normal turbines
