My theory is that Battleblock Theater and Pit People come before Castle Crashers because (spoilers btw) when Honeyhug grabs Hatty, he tilts his head up to see what's happening, and when Honeyhug is done destroying the universe, he lets Hatty go, who either ends up on a piece of Earth and then ended up in the Castle Crashers world when the giraffe restores everything, OR he gets flung to some other planet or dimension or something or sent back in time idk, but Honeyhug definitely sent him to the Castle Crashers world, I just know it. TL;DR i think Castle Crashers IS the sequal, with Battleblock Theater and Pit People coming before it, and Alien Hominid I have no idea.

@@JadedJaden This is the timeline I made: Battleblock theater is the first game, and when the ending of Battleblock happens, Hatty’s laser shoots down the Alien’s ship, as well as the space bear. Then, Alien Hominid occurs. In that game, society seems to be normal, with urban cities and towns. Then, after the final boss is beaten (and likely imprisoned), the space bear crashes into earth. Society goes into an apocalypse because of the giant bear’s blood raining from the sky. Which basically transforms people and animals into crazy creatures and beasts. Which starts the plot of Pit People. Then, after Pit People, the world is still forever changed by the bear blood transforming everything. So Humanity is thrusted back into the dark ages. Eventually, the son of Pipistrella from Pit People becomes the king of the kingdom, and by the time he gets old, the plot of Castle Crashers begins.

Barbarians crowded the sides, eager to watch whatever new battle that was about to unfold!_ "Were... were we expected?!" _The Gray Knight wondered aloud, slight panic in his voice. There were hundreds... maybe even thousands of Barbarians! Not even the two legendary Knights that he was accompanying would be able to hold off so many!_ "Nay, they're here for a show. And I can see the prize." _The Red Knight said, as he then pointed to the prize in question- the Princesses, tied up on wooden polea, suspended over the arena!_ "YOUR HIGHNESS!" _The Grey Knight readied an arrow to cut the Princess down, but he was stopped by the Blue Knight, who pushed his bow down._ "Stay thy hand, knight! You mustn't risk missing your mark!" _The Blue Knight said. Suddenly, a large, beefy Barbarian leapt down from the gate in front of them! This must have been their leader!_ _The Beefy Barbarian let out a violent roar, as the three knights readied their weapons-_ _only to be interrupted by loud banging from the gate behind the Beefy Barbarian._ *_CRASH!!!_* _The Gate was suddenly busted down, flattening the Beefy Barbarian as an even BIGGER Barbarian came walking into the arena! THIS was the Barbarian King! And he was GARGANTUAN!!!_ "Return the princesses, you vile beast!" _The Grey Knight said as he then let loose multiple arrows from his bow, as the Barbarian King easily shrugged them off, laughing at the three knights. Suddenly, he grabbed the large shield on his backside, leaping up and swinging it down at the knights!_ _The knights swiftly rolled out of the way, as the Barbarian King flipped over the shield onto the other side of the arena. The Red Knight blasted towards the king with a burst of lightning at his feet, his mace raised-_ *_WHAM!!!_* _The Barbarian King intercepted Red Knight with a powerful punch, sending the knight careening to the ground as the Barbarian audience all began laughing at Red Knight's expense._ "You dare to invade our home, and now laugh at our pain?!" _Gray Knight yelled, as he then raised a hand skyward, magical energy suddenly surging in his body, as Blue and Red Knight stared shocked at the sight!_ _Suddenly, hundreds of arrows began raining down from the skies upon the Barbarian King, embedding themselves into the gargantuan brute's body. The Barbarian King turned around, shielding himself with the massive shield on his backside, as the spikes on the shield then jutted outwards towards the Knights!_ _Blue Knight grabbed one of the spikes, before freezing it solid, as it shattered when the Barbarian King attempted to retract the spikes. Gray Knight once more began calling down a torrent of arrows from the skies, as the Red Knight them raised his mace skyward, lightning shooting out from it and hitting the arrows, lighting them all on fire as they all began setting the Barbarian King on fire en masse!_ _Just then, the Barbarian King took out what appeared to be a tonic, and began chugging it down, before turning around. Suddenly, there was a resounding _*_BURRRRRRRPPPPP!!!_*_ as the Barbarian King rocketed towards the Knights, propelled by the force of his explosive burp!_ _But then, Blue Knight froze the fire solid with his magic! The Barbarian King was stuck!_ _Just then, Gray Knight leapt into the air, the dirt propelling him upwards as he then suddenly summoned two bombs to his hands, as he dove towards the frozen Barbarian King!_ "FOR HIS MAJESTY!!!!!" _Gray Knight kamikazed the Barbarian King, as two large explosions went off, shattering the Barbarian King into multiple pieces, and launching the Gray Knight straight back to the wall, the impact breaking the wood!_ _They had won! The Barbarian King was felled! The Barbarian spectators all began panicking as they then witnessed the entirety of the King's Army charging towards them!_ _Gray Knight managed to recover, and leapt up to the Red Princess, cutting her down as he untied her. She then suddenly grabbed his helmet and pulled him right to her, giving him a huge smooch!_ _Gray Knight stumbled back, babbling in confusion and also happiness as Red Knight clapped him on the back._ "I say this makes you one of us now, Gray Knight. You can use magic, like the rest of us." _Red Knight said. Just then, among the King's Knights, they saw a green and orange figure among them. It was Green and Orange Knight!_ "You two are late! Where were you?!" _Red Knight yelled as the Gray Knight glanced at the Red Princess, who giggled._ "I was busy protecting the villagers. Orange here was fighting alongside the army." _Green Knight said, as he sheathed his bloodsoaked blade._ "Well, I've got some good news. We've got ourselves a new member- he more then proved his mettle during the battle, and he even showed us that he can use magic!" _Red Knight said, as he pulled Gray Knight towards them, as the latter immediately kneeled._ "I-I am unworthy of such praise, Sir Green!" "Nonsense! Thee has proven to be just as capable as the rest of us!" _Blue Knight said, as he pulled Gray Knight to his feet._ _But then, Green Knight looked behind him._ "Here comes His Majesty! Everybody, kneel!" _Green Knight said, as the group all kneeled to the King, who rode in on his royal steed, his trusty gilded scepter in hand as he dismounted his horse._ "Rise, knights. This war has only just begun." _The King said, as another knight ran up to him._ "Your Majesty! We spotted thieves carrying the remaining princesses into the nearby forest! Should we pursue?" "Yes, of course! We will catch up soon!" "Yes, Your Majesty!" _Immediately, a small detachment of knights began pursuing the thieves who snatched the Blue, Green, and Purple princesses in the midst of the chaos. The King then turned to the knights, as he raised his scepter._ _Then, he tapped it on Gray Knight's left shoulder._ "By thy power present within me, by thy blood of magic... Rise, Gray Knight, 5th Castle Crasher." _The King said, as Gray Knight's gaze whipped up, his expression one of shock underneath his helmet._ "From now on, you shall work alongside Green, Red, Orange, and Blue. You have more than proven your worthiness to join them in their journey." _The King said, as he planted his scepter into the ground in front of him, his hands resting on the golden bulb at its tip._ "I-I... I will not disappoint you, Your Majesty!" _Gray Knight said as he scrambled to his feet._ "Now then... Castle Crashers, this war is far from over! To the Thieves' Forest, chase after those who dared to steal away my daughters!" *"Yes sir!"* _The 5 Knights all said in unison, as they all then used their magic to zoom in the direction of the forest!_ (To be continued in "Jumper", which can be found in this OST playlist.)

Castle Crashers isn't quite my favorite Behemoth game (Battleblock Theater will forever hold that spot) but if something's for sure is that their soundtracks ABSOLUTELY PEAKED with this one. All their other games have pretty good, sometimes mediocre OSTs with a few hidden gems sprinkled in (no pun intended), but this game just throws you banger after banger on every single level and it's absolutely insane. I love it.
