Hatch summarises the differences between the two series' very well. The new series is much darker and also much deeper with more complex characterization. That is why it is my favorite scifi-show ever.

Como diría Lina Morgan: "madre mía, como se estropean los cuerpos". I can't believe he is Apolo, time passes faster we want it to do. By the way I remember this guy with lots of glamour, he is still belching after eating. ;-P. Sorry for that, he is one of the most handsome actors obviously in the past. I remember with joy the mythical Gallactica when it was on TV in Spain, 25 years ago... It was a huge success in our country. All of us wanted to be space soldiers! Goog luck, Richard

Richard Hatch's view on the new series is polar opposite to Dirk Benedict's. I'm with Dirk on that matter. I have no time for the new series and neither doesn't my 11 year old nephew who has loved the original series since 7 years old.
