It's weird how many of these feel like they've been around since forever, even though they were brand new when I was a kid and I don't remember a time when these things didn't exist. I was born in 1981, so it feels weird that I am older than Cinnamon Toast Crunch (first sold in 1984), another example of 80s snacks that are still around.

Nerds cereal was my favorite growing up. They had two mini bags inside the box. One was cherry, the other grape. I miss that cereal so much. I dont care what color it turned my poop. Also there was this dessert cup in the late 80s/early 90s. It was different layered shades of pink and sort of like a parfait. There may have been sponge cake on the bottom. Ive been looking for it online but cannot find it anywhere. I dont remember the name.

SmurfBerry cereal looked delicious, and if they ever brought it back, I would gladly buy it. But Ranch flavored soda is 🤢! This was a great video, Weird History! Hope you'll do a video on Jack In The Box Restaurants one day, though please talk about the 1970s era with the animated commercials and the characters voiced by Paul Winchell, voice of Tigger. Three commercials, as well as the three comics [How A House Makes Noise, Where Oil Comes From, How Pain Helps Us] are on KZbin, so researching the 70s era of Jack In The Box should be a little easier [get it? the original jingle was "Take Life A Little Easier"]. Actually, a Weird History Food video on mascots voiced by famous voice actors would be super cool. Paul Winchell was the 1970s animated version of Jack but was also Burger Chef for Burger Chef restaurants. Paul Frees, Haunted Mansion's Ghost Host, was also the Pillsbury Doughboy, which is hilarious to think about given Paul Frees' most famous role as the Ghost Host.

I love your brand. Also, thank you so much for that visual during the smurf segment. Now I can never clean my toilets nor see ANy toilet with blue cleaner in it without dread again. Also, why HAVEN'T TBMG been spokes people for cleaning products yet? Also also, great burningman idea. Giant toilet, BMG emerge from the bowl and immediately start drum-raging on the porcelain. I imagine it would sound like a dulcimer impregnated a steel drum. But the 50:1 scale toilet MUST be entirely ceramic to comply with...reasons. Idea copyright me. You all saw it. Unless it's already been done in Vegas... ...in which case I really want to know where they store that toilet in the off-season.

It's hard to believe Red Bull has been around since the 80's...back in 2000, a friend of mine bought a can of it off a "legal drugs" website, and it was the first time any of us had heard of it. The brand caught fire pretty shortly after that, but it's strange to think that Red Bull had been around for 13 years by then and I never even knew it existed!
