There's a chapel in Portugal built out of bones. "We bones that here be, yours await." Another smaller one in Alcantarilha, Algarve, is lined with skulls. Once, a mouse made one of them fall and scared the shit out of the people who were inside at the time.

You know what I found the most fascinating when I was there few weeks ago? Looking at the skulls (I don't think I've seen a human skull from this close before, or definitely not many of them). The ridges where the skull bones are fused together look amazing. I didn't feel the place was creepy at all. A bit sad maybe but otherwise just interesting. I found myself hoping these people got to enjoy some happiness and beauty in their lives, which were most likely much harder than mine is.

we visited the capuchin catacombs (catacombe dei capucccini) in Palermo, Sicily last year. It’s smaller then the Paris catacombs but all bodies laid to rest there were clothed. It’s also the same place where Rosalia Lombardo is laid to rest. The 2 year old, often referred to as sleeping beauty, is famous for her live like appearance since she was so well preserved that she looked to be sleeping. The embalming technique was experimental but also a breakthrough in body preservation and embalming. Could be interesting to make a video about the capuchin catacombs, it has an interesting and macabre history. There’s a sentence written above the entrance of the catacombs that reads; You are what we once were, you will be what we are. The whole place left a immense big impression.

You should do a video about what life was like for Holocaust survivors after they were freed from concentration camps at the end of the World War 2. Being the grandson of Holocaust survivors, I heard their post war stories a few times and how they made their way to America. A big part of the story was the methods they took to find family members who were taken to other Concentration Camps in Europe.
