It makes me so upset that they are now facing extinction thanks to lawmakers pushing to protect lobster fisherman. Deaths from entanglement in their fishing nets alone is enough to wipe out these beautiful creatures

Thats the goal , to upset you so you will donate , there was an incident in 2017 where these whales changed their feeding patterns and several were entangled , the problem was solved a year later , since then its been a vehicle for a handful of narcissists to grift money from decent caring people

There's never been a recorded death of a Northern Right whale from the Maine lobster fishery. There's one fishery that's a problem (hint, it's not the lobster industry). But hey, why let facts get into the way of a good story. Keep donating.
