When I was a young man I was riding my motorcycle and it started to rain a little so I stopped off at a diner and I walked inside and there was a beautiful woman wearing a red coat with long brown curly hair sitting in a booth by herself and something came over me so I asked her if I could sit there she said sure no problem so I sat down and she went back to reading her book and this song came on the radio and we just smiled at each other and felt the moment no words were said and after a little while I got up and walked out and said nice meeting you she just smiled and I got on my motorcycle and I drove away and it’s 25 years later And every time I hear this song I wonder about that woman and what if....

I was listening to this song on a bus on the way to my college and sat beside a handsome fellow. When he needed to pay for his bus ticket he dropped some coins and I helped him pick them up... that's practically the only interaction we had. He was quiet and extremely reserved, I could tell from how he positioned himself next to me; back was arched like he was hiding behind his backpack, phone almost hidden behind that backpack of his. He wasn't listening to music or anything, just using his phone. I wanted to talk to him so bad, but never found a reason to do so, or a commonality we had. Besides inside the bus it was extremely quiet so if I were to talk with him people would hear my attempt at befriending him. His stop was before mine so he just got up and left. I remember his stop was in the arts building inside his university... wow. I also like arts! If only I knew that he was an arts major then I would've started a conversation... I never got his name, or saw his ID. Since that day I always keep an eye out for him in the bus. I always think about how life would have been if I did say hi, and if we did become friends... This song reminds me of him, because he practically (cheesy) 'faded' away. I miss him in ways and for reasons I can't even describe.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply! :) Sadly, it's been about a month and a half now, and I still haven't seen him again. I don't know his route either, so I don't know where to place the printed paper in that case. I hope I see him again in the future. Or, rather, I wish I had just said hi already... guess this further solidifies my belief in the word "YOLO"!

I was walking with my dog in the park in the evening. I was so depressed, literally half an hour ago I was in tears. I started running just to relieve stress, and then I noticed a guy walking my way. He was walking slowly, me like a freak still running with my dog through the park. He approached me, and said "You have so energetic dog". That was the beginning of the 3 hours conversation. He was from different country, and just visited my city. I had a feeling I could tell him anything. He was so respectful, so kind, so intelligent. We were walking and talking about everything. He asked "did you see the moon? It is full today". He walked me my apartament, he wished me the best, and we shaked our hands. His hand was so warm, like his heart. Fade into you. this song reminds me of my mom. we are so alike with our attitudes sometimes so we can get into some pretty rude fights. but at the end of the way before bed she tells me she loves me and she does everything she can to make sure I can do the things I love. so this song reminds me of going on night car rides with her or watching a movie with her. Mazzy star is just special to me because I remember my mom telling me she used to listen to these records when she was in high school or college

This song reminds me of a classmate from 8th grade. He had just moved from out of state, and I liked him and wanted to befriend him, but social anxiety got the best of me. However, he liked talking to me as well. He said I reminded him of a girl from his old school named Hannah, sometimes calling me her name on accident. I remember him because any class I was in was better with him in it due to his curiosity and kindness. I admired him a lot. He was one of the only people there who treated me with respect. During the first week of 9th grade, I hoped to see him in the halls and have him in classes again. I didn't. I never saw him again after 8th grade. Thomas, I miss you.

I met this guy at work. Well, really he came up to me. I work in a bakery, he works in a neighboring department, and I guess he had his eye on me, because one day, he came around while I was working and asked me for a free cookie to “indulge in his childhood.” He kept coming around with funny retorts and questions, and even introduced me to some of his coworkers from his department I’m still friends with. I can’t go any further than friends because of my circumstances and my home life. I just know if I were to give in to what we both want, that it’d end poorly, and I’d get my heart broken. Not because of him, but because of my home life. There is so much I want to say to him. And for months he’s been pursuing me. But I know that if I gave into him, I’d fall into trouble. But geez, I cant stop thinking about him. And his gorgeous brown eyes. Just everything about him is perfect, not only appearance wise, but his soul. He is real and genuine and he only speaks gently to me. If only I could be careless about circumstances and just go for it. But I cant. I’m stuck and it’ll haunt me for a long time. If he were to ever see this, which I hope to heavens not, I hope he knows what an amazing man he is. I hope he finds someone that can give him what I wish to. He deserves infinite love and happiness. I can’t help but think about such a special girl when I hear this song. We liked each other, it was so perfect and we had this insane chemistry that I don’t think I’ve ever felt with anyone else, but then I had to leave for Erasmus and she stayed back. When I came back, I told her I liked her, but she told me she had more platonic feelings then and she had to leave for Erasmus as well. To this day, she’s my friend, but when I see her I can’t help but think she’s the love of my life. If wrong time right person exists then this is it.
