After 8 months, I left the company and started flying for a freight company so I could continue flying the marvelous 748. I started flying the 747 in 2003, for Singapore airlines, but after it was retired in 2012, I started flying the 777-300ER, which I was very sad about. While the A380 did also pushed aviation beyond known boundaries. I'm just happy that the 747 REVOLUTIONIZE commercial air travel. Also, not a lot of planes can be given the thought of considering turning it into a firefighter, military planes, satellite - shuttle & telescope carrier and many more. Not much can stand-up against the Queen of the skies 👑

Rest in peace 1968-2023. The world will never be the same without these magical giants rolling out the factory. Thank you Boeing for over 50 years of keeping the one and only queen of the skies alive. Can't think of many other aircraft still flying that dates back the the Apollo era, only the jumbo, 737 and B-52. In total, 1572 were produced throughout the 55 years of production.

June 2024, I had the privilege of flying Lufthansa 747-400 YVR-FRA and back on the upper deck... What an amazing aircraft. Flew on plenty when I was a kid but this was amazing as an adult...to get to fly on this gorgeous aircraft was an unbelievable experience. Long live the 747 may she grace our skies for many more years to come. 🛫

It's already 1 year ago but to this day I still look at this masterpiece. The 747 From Initial design to Actual Engineering and Constructing and All the Frames, spanners all the Wiring. It's just an impressive machine (same goes for all other aircraft of course), and even though I've never actually worked on it directly or flew with it. I still admire the plane greatly

i flew the 747 back in 2010 when i was moving from croatia to australia. out of all of the flights and planes i flew since then it was still my most favourite and most memorable, probably because it was my first time flying and the flight was half empty so it felt like it was all mine. I remember seeing it for the first time and my 10 year old brain couldnt comprehend how such a big plane with a weird bump could even fly. made it even more interesting.

I saw a Qantas 747 next to my easyJet flight in march, little did I know that was one of the last 747s ever I remember they have these really fancy stairways up into them, almost like a small tube
