This is so true!!! We all do dumb, worthless things with our lives. If we knew how to live, we wouldn't die for worthless things. Lots of these things in the video are definitely "treasures" chased through quicksand; impermanent highs and rushes, thrills and chills... But how does it benefit the greater good? Unfassbar, mir fehlen die Worte (aber ich probier es trotzdem mal)! Hier prasselt in 4 Minuten soviel visuell und musikalisch auf einen ein! Jeder unterschiedliche Videoschnippsel haut einem auf so unterschiedliche Weiße derbe ins Bewusstsein oder/und in die Magengrube! Touched by emotion! Gerade das Zusammenspiel (oder gar der Einklang oder vielleicht doch eher die Konfrontation?) mit den Bilder hebt das Stück (meiner Meinung nach) auf ein noch höheres Level als man es eh schon von einer Kombi Faderhead/Neuroticfish hätte erahnen konnte. Den SunflowerRaver 🌻 aus dem Vox-Sendeschluß kenn ich noch von damals! Respekt und Chapeau, für mich ein ganz ganz großes Meisterwerk! WAKEMEUP! before we´re TOO DEAD FOR LIFE. 👌👍🖤

Sami, you always have an insightful level of clarity, as well as a healthy minded social commentary that's blunt; but nevertheless, elegantly framed within your music. It's an especially rare and extremely profound gift to have, which not many people have the ability to convey. These lyrics are reminiscent of something, I believe, Ronan Harris (VNV Nation) would usually write; however, "Die For This" communicates a level of 'common sense' that's rarely found but always refreshing to discover. If everyone used their “common sense”, then we would know how to live a fruitful lifetime, as well as striving for a purposefully driven journey along the way.
