Tip from a fisch player who’s been playing pretty much since the release of the game, if you’re appraising any fish to get it shiny, sparkling, or a good mutation. Always try to get a bulk amount of the fish you want to reforge. Then, whenever you get mutation surges, night of the luminous, and a shiny surge, reforge your fish then, for some reason when you reforge in those events, the buffs apply. (For instance, if you appraise your fish in a mutation surge, you’ll have a 15% chance for the fish to have a random mutation.) I hope this helps!! (You save a LOT of time and money doing this)
