Orr was the best, and Scotty is the youngest 90 year-old I've ever seen and heard. He looks amazing.

Bobby Orr #4 but #1 all-time!
@davidjohnson-fw5co9 ай бұрын
we would go see him play at the gardens in the early 70's. He would go end to end. the crowd would boo , until he scored. then the cheers. amazing player to watch. And the 1976 series , he was canada's mvp while struggling to play with his bad knees
@ericw32299 ай бұрын
What made Orr so incredible was everything he did was done on injured knees. His last great moment was the 76 Cabada Cup and by then his knees were shreded but he still dominated the tournament

When Orr was on the ice the game was as fast or as slow as Orr wanted. He controlled everything he wanted when he was on the ice.
@Bradydog-in7ut3 ай бұрын
Even with a chopped up left knee he was faster than everyone….he just could pour it on all game long when the knee got shot.

Bobby Orr was a trailblazer who revolutionized the Defence position. The NHL had never seen this dynamic play before. For Hockey it was a new way of playing the position. Decades later and all other talented defenders owe Orr a debt of gratitude…4ever.

Add Roggie Vachon, Gump Worsley, Bernie Parent and Doug Favell. These goaltenders were just amazing in their series against the Bruins. Unlike Basketball, hockey is a team sport. It takes a team to win the Stanley Cup, not just one player.

No the main reason they didn’t win more cups was that they liked to have too much fun off the ice.

Don Cherry 1st year in Boston, Grapes tried putting Bobby on the wing but after a few games gave it up because Bobby would end up playing defense anyway. That’s the year he had 139 points.

On Bob's voice......His entire, or one side of his diaphragm is probably becoming paralyzed and he hasn't much air when pushing out his voice. That's my guess.
