Fafnir is synonymous with spin stealing, so we had to see how well the new Mirage Fafnir would do when hand spun. We also wanted to revisit the entire lineup of Fafnir and see how far the spin stealing concept has come.

HAND SPIN, Spin Steal, Weak Shooting are the coolest move in Beyblade for us! It's just pure EPICNESS! Fafnir is one of the best and coolest Beyblade, period. Though I hope Free get back after losing two times to Lane Valhalla. We love Free De La Hoya so much and was really disappointed to what happened in the Manga/ Comics. It looks like that mirage fafnir is quite unstable when it was trying to steal spin against the attack type beys. That's why a flat driver like spiral' or destroy' can be used in the fafnir combo.

If you guys want Mirage Fafnir's hand spin works, try removing 2s chassis and replace it with 1s/1d chassis, then add a normal disc (it's your choice what disc you want to use), and absorb driver

Great comment, but why absorb? The life after death is kinda trash compared to some other drivers. I think Mirage Fafnir, 1D (for slightly better teeth than 1S), Over/00 Proof, Atomic would be really good.

@@primeapocalypse6291 Left spin beys, hand launched, don't burst nearly as often against right spin beys, even if the teeth are weak....which is why the teeth are so weak on every stock fafnir release. So, life after death spin stealing is perfectly good even if the bey will burst easily...as long as it is going against an opposite spin direction opponent.

it's disappointing that Mirage cannot spin steal as well as the other Fafnirs, but that's because it uses hard rubber compared to the other Fafnirs, which deflects attacks instead of absorbing them.

The reason why mirage fafnir didn’t win anything because the chassis and it’s not really good with hand spinning it’s only good with weak launching

I know why it happens because Mirage fafnir is really heavy which makes the Beyblade with nothing driver as a tool to deal all damage downwards and when it absorbs hits it also send it to driver to absorb more and increase spin but the weight makes it go down and create friction more and reducing spin. Drain Fafnir is light and the force goes only for spin but it is lightweight so it gets knock pretty easily and less rubber made it lost the marathon Geist Fafnir won all rounds because it has perfect weight to not get knocked and like hazard kerbeaus it has the same absorb dragon heads and rubber which made it spin more Wizard Fafnir has enough rubber to spin steal alot and as it's driver always got center it is very good Beyblade but the burst issue and every thing is perfect in wizard

Changing out the driver on mirage makes it way better. Stock I feel it looses most of the time. With other drivers meant for balance types or stamina types makes it a much better bey

The problem with the absorb mode on mirage fafnir is that because of the way the chassis is designed it interferes with the rubber contact points preventing proper spin steal contact so if they made mirage fafnir with a more round chassis like the proof frame it would potentially work better but I’m not an expert so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

I think it might be the driver that makes the difference when it comes to fafnir stealing spins. The wider driver like absorb or rise provide better life after death giving it more opportunities to spin steal as much as necessary. The nothing driver doesn't have as much surface area as absorb. When it comes to scraping or being knocked off balanced, there's no way fafnir could continue spin stealing as it takes more hits.

I think Geist and wizard won more because the Absorb and Rise drivers have more LAD (life after death) than nothing, so if you switched nothing with something (lol) that has more LAD like bearing drift.
