Some notes: - I made lot of mistakes, this deck is easy to learn but hard to master, misplaying is imminent - the mistake that I made in 6:18 I was meant to use chimera fusion to summon the big chimera, but forgot that it requires a beast or fiend monster as one of the materials, while I only have illusion in my hand and field - you can remove barrier statue if you keep bricking, but with this list I rarely brick, its just weak when going 2nd if don't open super poly or book - diabelze only force opponent to set their spell first before activating them, unlike anti spell fragrance, so as soon as they set a spell, destroy it with rabbit and diabelze, good -2 from their hand

There's always enough room for Nightmare Magician in an illusion/chimera deck. That Boi's our ACE monster :D

I’m using Illusion Chimera in the Duelist Cup & I love the flexibility of the deck especially after the latest support I’ve been experimenting with Susurrus of the Sinful Spoils as it can help dodge some card effects & can recover banished Illusions, most importantly Diabellze

What's an alternative to Beatrice? Its banned in the TCG.

I don't think theres a better alternative, if the purpose is to send cards from deck, but for different purpose, for example omni negate, you can use evolzar lars, but make sure to detach the chimera fusion monster when you negating with it..so you can use its effect in grave to summon chimera fusion back to field, and have mirror sword knight and coatl available to activate

Great Video! I‘m currently looking to build a new deck, These are the ones I cant decide between: Chimera, Infernoble(I already have Mikanko so I would Build a combination), Raidraptor (always wanted to try them but not sure if they are any good in the current meta) or the new gimmick puppet. Which one out of these 4 would you say is the best right now? And which one would you say is the most fun? :) appreciate your vids man, keep up the good work!

long term : chimera short term (hit by banlist soon) : gimmick puppet cheap but weak going 2nd : raidraptor I don't reccomend infernoble, its a strong going 1st deck, but to much investment for it, better build tenpai or snake eyes over it..

Don't even waste your material on gimmick puppet, that trash is getting nerfed soon anyway. I'd say go chimera or infernoble. I recently built infernoble and it's incredibly strong, with the new flame swordsman support it's better at going 2nd than it was before now that you have better otk potential. The deck is very fun too if you enjoy learning combos. It is weak to Maxx C but honestly most decks are nowadays. I only played some raidraptors as it's a combo heavy deck like infernoble. Also, like infernoble it's end board is nearly unbeatable and once you reach a certain part of the combo, your opponent can't interrupt you at all which is cool. And it's easy to go into different routes or cut the combo short if you do get negated. Which is actually an area infernoble can struggle. It's also weak to Maxx C though like infernoble. I haven't tried chimera yet, but it seems like a solid high tier rogue deck, like many other decks it seems to fall to Maxx C, which if you look at the replays of the vid, he doesn't really get hit with Maxx C the games he wins which further proves my point. But it seems worth a try for sure. Hope this helps
