Very well done for a small budget movie and glad you included the real ending of the novel (the other versions end happy). Kudos for compressing a long work into a short space. Happy Birthday, Ray Bradbury (08/22) (RIP)

In the novel Clarisse is a teenager, but in the movie she is an adult. This creates the impression in the movie that Montag would cheat with her.

Very intriguing departure from the original. Congratulations to Owen Gurtz and family on an imaginative film.

Essentially, Ray Bradbury (unknowingly) predicted the dumbing down of America by use of big screen tvs, the avoidance of books (by preoccupation with telephones and other computers), and wholesale narcissism; people may not be caressing themselves while riding subway cars, but they're adoring themselves by taking selfies all day long. It's as though some kind of collective insanity has taken hold. Also, i prefer the original film directed by Francois Truffaut.

It's the same in the UK, so many people are vain and self-obsessed

Ray Bradbury was born in my home town. I read all of his books in college... As for banning books now days parents are free to buy any books for their Own children but the public libraries are buying books that are inappropriate for young children about how they can change their sex.
@taffykins274510 ай бұрын
Better get them quick, before thay ban your favorites. Remember what happened to Dr. Seuss?
@mainstreetsaint3610 ай бұрын
Guess we better burn those books, just in case, right? 😉 Why stop there, maybe find other books that are inappropriate and burn them too. Maybe the Quran, perhaps much of Toni Morrison's works? Why stop there? The Anarchist's cookbook is supposedly dangerous.
