Nataly’s Corner is introducing the #soul #jazz sounds of a new band that lit up mainstream music media in 2023 and is still catching much attention from music reviewers and listeners in the soul and smooth jazz community. This band, recording under the name “Fahrenheit 702”, is the creative project of record producer, composer, and keyboardist Greg “GR” Radford. This artist is well known for his time with The Fantasy Band (with Marion Meadows, Chuck Loeb, and John Lee), both as a member and writer for the band, and has arranged and composed songs for other artists, such as international recording artist Curtis Hairston. “Getting’ in the Game, Vol 1” (officially released in September 2023) has hit popular smooth jazz charts since its debut. Fahrenheit 702 reported they have 3 songs sitting (as of April 1, 2024) on the Smoothjazz.com Top 50 Listener Countdown. One of those three is this featured song (I Wanna Get Closer) which is at #1 on the same chart. The album is in the Top 20 on the Smoothjazz.com Radar chart.
