I went in this ride it's awesome!! The line is pretty long but it moves quick!!! If your a roller coaster lover like me you will love this!!! BEST RIDE EVER!! I'm only 12 and I love it!

Rip Ride Rockit's lift seems more scary to me. One because it's right out of the station and two: The train is moving in through the station (albeit a slow speed) and your in a panic mode in a way trying to pull down your lap bar and choose your song before you go straight up. It's like playing checkers while going on Top Thrill Dragster.

This is probably still the closest the east coast has gotten to Maverick. Similar drop & elements towards the end, and same train setup. If only it was launched and a little bit longer & faster. The vertical lift is neat, though.

You know its funny but it seems like every time I see HersheyPark on video its always cloudy in the background. Only living 3 hours from the park gives me the advantage of picking a nice sunny day.

Joshua Bashore It was super high and really fast and the hills were scary and I cried at the end of the ride. I've been on big rides, but not like that. Surprisingly, the lap bar thing didn't bruise or hurt my thighs like everyone thinks they do. It was a fun ride, but I'd probably never ride it again. Lol.

That would make the gearbox too complicated I think... easier to just stick with standard Anti-Rollbacks molded into the lift hill track pieces.

I believe the rubber transport wheels on this coaster are on the side of the track, and those are to allow the trains to roll along them.

simon parker​ maverick has a 70 mph launch inside a tunnel very low to the ground and has tight curves and transitions that make it super intense. Plus it has ejector airtime

simon parker Air-time is caused by inertia of the train and the riders. As the train goes over a hill, the mass of the riders tends to resist the downward motion of the ride vehicle, resulting in riders being briefly lifted out of their seats. The amount of airtime caused by a ride is dependent on the velocity of the train, gravity, and the radius of the track transition. Zero-G (which means zero G-force) is achieved when the downward acceleration is equal to that of gravity, while negative G-forces are caused when the downward acceleration is greater than that of gravity. Roller coaster enthusiasts differentiate between different types of air-time. Floater air-time is caused by the riders experiencing weightlessness or zero gravity while ejector airtime is caused by negative G-forces.
