Imagine dropping into a game of apex, exited and full of hope, landing at your favourite spot, capital, streamer building. Many teams land and you grab a flatline off drop “Perfect” you say with even more confidence of a high kill game. It begins, bullets start to fly and the weak and unfortunate drop like flies. In the corner of your eye you see a shadow fly across the corner of your screen, flicking your mouse over you see… nothing? It’s gone already. “My screen must be playing up” After some fighting, your one of the last teams in the building. “Alright guys, we’re looted up and there’s only one guy left in the building, he’s a solo so this will be over quickly” A true statement but not in the way you would expect. “FOUND HIM” your teammate screams “it’s a solo wraith” nothing you haven’t fought before, you and your predator friends stacked in pubs just to gutter stop little kids. All of a sudden *beep* “WHAT WAS THAT?!?” Your friend is down already, he wondered off by himself so it’s no wonder he dies first. You and your other teammate just need to play smart. All of a sudden, BOOM, a PK shot from behind cracks your shields, before either of you turn around the wraith is gone already, you hear him go up the zip line and your friend chases quickly, not being a complete bot he doesn’t go straight up. Still, on his way up he takes some shots, quickly getting off the zip and taking cover to pop a bat. You, now fully healed, decide to follow, your lucky to get to the roof without getting shot, but that’s because the wraith has dropped onto your teammate and swiftly kills him with 2 well placed PK shots. Your friend manages to crack the wraith in the exchange, he used his skills on the controller to land a good amount of shots before going down. It’s up to you now, that last one left, chasing after the cracked wraith, she uses her Q, to evade your attempts to finish her off. You take this opportunity to try and revive your friend. “Go for it, he’s low, he wouldn’t push” your friend informs you, but when your almost finished the revive when *bing* an arc star sticks to you, now in mortal danger you abandon the res and run to go heal before you can be finished off. You pull out your last battery and with your heart pumping, commit to this clutch moment. These few second feel like an eternity: 5, 4, 3, 2… the scrape of a footstep behind you seals your fate… the screen goes black… those dreaded words cover your screen… Squad eliminated.

I watched alot of apex players, with most of them with 20 bombs badge, 4-5k damage in the thumbnail. And most of them are just controller players, aim + shoot + kill, boring. No other players like Faide can make it so much fun to enjoy with all his movements. I guess this is the difference between Faide, with the average 5k damage players. Truly amazing gameplay, my main inspiration to improve.
