I’d rather just buy a cheap MUA highlighter and scrape some into the Superdrug vitamin E facial spray, it’s a cheap dupe for the Iconic London spray and way better payoff than the Revolution spray, no speckles as long as you shake it. I’m usually impressed by revolution products but this one is a flop, they need to re-release it with a lot less pigment.

The Revolution one did look like it had way more pigment at the bottom, my theory is that maybe when you sprayed it there was still some buildup at the bottom and it sucked up a whole bunch of pigment and now it's just spraying poorly mixed pigment. Maybe store it upside down so that the pigment settles on the upper part. Give it a few sprays tho to clean all that pigment from the tube.

Lol, same here. The spray blocks itself with shimmers. I have to literally hit it on the desk to make it work again... Also, the white/champagne one is actually bright yellow gold so it looks hideous of my fair skin. I need to gift it to someone.

I got the MUR ones and honestly I really like them. You just have to shake then REALLY well bc there is a lot of pigment in them & it gets stuck at the bottom of the spray part. The better it’s shaked the better it works.

Victoria Panossian They really are nice dupes for the Iconic London and the Mac Fix Plus Shimmer’s. Just look at the bottom of the bottle after you shake it to make sure all the pigment is mixed good. It’s almost like once you think it’s shakes up enough, shake it just a little more. There is a little BB or little ball in the bottle to help mix the product. If it’s not shakes up good, then it can be a problem but as long as it’s shakes really good, it’s SO pretty! Also make sure to only spray one spritz on each side of your face. If you spray it continuously then it can look like lots of glitter. It’s definitely one of MUR products that you don’t need much of. I use the gold shade on my face and the bronze shade on my body it just just looks stunning. I go a little over on the body but that’s bc I like to shimmer lol.

I have the make up revolution one in the lighter shade and it does actually work you just have to make sure it’s properly shook and make sure at the bottom of the bottle none of the pigment is still gathered. but this does happen if it isn’t properly shook, but it does leave my face with spots of pigment anyway. which isn’t great xxx

Soooo glad I'm not the only one who had a problem with this spray. I love the Iconic London one and hoped it would be a dupe, so I bought the light spray to give it a go and everytime I used it it left gold specks all over my face. Best stick to Iconic London 😭

What ive found with the revolution one is you have to shake it for a while which is annoying then spray it on and then blend it out to get a even coverage. Also even you used it within minutes of someone else you still have to give it a hard long shake

If I use these type of sprays and they leave specks of pigment I just use my beautyblender to disperse specks, or to avoid specks completely I spray the product onto my beautyblender and then just lightly press it over my makeup. Still gives the same effect without running the risk of pigment patches x

Bought the lighter one and used it for a while (used a beauty sponge to blend any particles in) but after a few uses the spray stopped working and I can’t get it to work at all 🙁 seen a lot of comments about this, they really need to get it fixed! Would prefer to pay a bit extra for the iconic ones rather than waste three quarters of the product 🙄 xoxo

You can see the pigment in the mist when you sprayed it the second time on your face, I was kind of excited for this setting spray, not for the glow thing, but because the I heart revolution setting sprays are not available for international shipping on the website and I wanted to at least try a setting spray from the Brand

The barri m glow spray has done the same to me lol, 1st few times was fine now however it's like spray copper pigment all over my face :-( I love makeup and test a lot of makeup so have a tone and I was so surprised when the barri m did that to my lovely fresh on point makeup lol had to wash it all off and then didn't have enough time to put more makeup up on for my friends birthday so looked like a zombie lol never again lol to scared to buy anything like that anymore, will only by clear setting sprays lol xxxx

I’ve been using this since December now and never had that happen to me 😂😂 I store mine lying down and always give it a few air sprays to get rid of any pigment that might have settled and it’s always been fine so maybe that helps? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I dunno what happened to yours Steph 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈😂 xxx

That's a good tip! Laying it down will definitely stop the pigment from settling in the bottom. Considering as this seems to have quite a lot of pigment I think a really good shake EVERY time it's used will also help. People always write off a product after just one fail. Give it a good chance and try different methods before calling it quits.

This happened to me yesterday using the Iconic London Prep Set and Glow. I think I was a bit heavy handed and put too much on. I used the original and ended up looking like I'd been stood in the rain! I had steaks all down one side of my cheek and then the beard like nightmare. So not sure it's a Revolution fail.... I have found Iconic's tricky and am now too afraid to use it as it completely ruined my make up!

I think revolution has more fail items than most people realise (i have bought 2 primers from them and the first balls up when you go in with foundation and the other Just gets all weird with my concealer and creates like white lines???? And its not the concealer or the foundation cause they worked with everything else i have)also are the iconic sprays good for oily skin? Cause steph makes me wanna buy them everytime she uses em 😩

Revolution have really good formulas for powder products like eyeshadow and highlighter, you really can't best them on quality for price there, but I struggle with anything else from them tbh - apart from the Pro 320 buffing brush, that's my favourite foundation brush at drugstore price 😍

@@echorisk i find their eyeshadows to have a tone of fall out and i am not a fun of that. Also one of the loose powders grabs at every product under it... I have tried a lot from them but i can the only things i liked are the highlighters and the contour powders

I think it's because they release so. Much. Stuff all the time that a lot of products just slip by. They seem to throw everything and anything out there to see what sticks haha I struggle with some of their products but some of them are amazing and it's all decently priced and mostly decently packaged . But I do find myself surprised by their strong and loyal following compared to other brands

I ordered both sprays from revolution and both were fine for one use/test of spray etc then sprays for both got blocked and revolution were utterly vile about it. They refused to refund or replace and its put me off of the brand entirely!
