It's amazing to me how many people dont bother to put down any salt or or ice melt on their walkways when it gets cold out. It can save you from bodily injuries when sprinkled around. Even sand helps. Cheap, but effective.

A deer wasn't going to hurt her, as long as she didn't walk right up to it, but she was scared senseless seeing it from across the room and standing by a door she could close herself into. A deer won't be able to break a door down like a grizzly bear or lion could.
