The vampire kid buying alcohol and cigarettes reminds me of my experience with that. When I use to work in retail someone came up asking to get the same things, alcohol and cigarettes. I asked for his ID but he said he left it in his car. I told him he needed his ID to buy the items and I could wait until he got it so he said he would be back in a few minutes to go get his ID. He never came back in but a few minutes later someone else came in asking for the same things. I got a weird vibe from him so I asked what's going on. He admitted a guy asked him to buy them for him and I explained he was probably underage considering he never came back with his ID. He was shocked, apologized and walked out without getting anything. The kid realized he was caught so he tried to get a random, gullible adult to help him. Never thought I would actually see that happened but I did.
