Failed DSO150 - Can It Be Fixed?

worth a try with MAX660 next time you order components because shipping costs double the IC price. (changing caps too).

That's annoying, though the ICL7760 is pretty cheap and should be available from any of the component distributors. Sent you a Christmas gift to get it fixed or replace it.

So, I had one of these Dso150 kits go wonky on me. The local shop replaced the kit. I built the new kit and during testing the magic smoke released. Well I left it a couple months and bought a fnirsi scope. Since I am in the electronics hobby the dso issue was bugging me so I looked at it again and the 7660 was getting hot. Ordered up 5 new chips on allie express, replaced the caps too, now I have two working scopes.
