Honestly from a brand design student/ Graphic designer you need a rebrand/ brand identity that you follow. For images, products, etc. But the most important thing is for you to LOVE your brand and everything about it. some of my thoughts When i look at your website i feel overwhelmed. There are so many options to clothing, to stationary, random accessories, to glassware i recommend personally having less categories for now. I also recommend redesigning the website. It needs to be a bit more appealing. High res. images, thoughtful placement, and better product photos. I think your color palette is so cute, and you really do have great potential but i feel like you should show more of your artistic side. To design stickers and more i think it would be cool to see. I hope this wasn't rude, i just personally think your sweet and hard working, so i just want you to succeed.

I'm a graphic designer and small etsy shop owner and I agree. I myself am working on making my products within a smaller "niche" and that helps tremendously when people come across your shop. Sometimes too many different products is overwhelming and you don't stand out as much.

I feel you totally when you say “fell out of love with the business.” I love what I do, but I find myself overworking myself right into stress and anxiety, so I’m falling out motivation and love with my business. It’s making me really rethink what’s important, my WHY to starting my own company, and what I really want to bring to the world through my art/business. Just keep the faith in yourself, keep it simple and never stopping moving, whether that’s forward or back, because then you will always be able to make healthy improvements! Best of luck to you!!

When I first launched my candle business I was overjoyed and excited, made $500 in sales my first month but definitely fell out of love with my brand and lost interest. It’s a year and a half later and I’ve completely rebranded to something I love. Don’t feel like you’re alone when that happens!

This video really hit home, I also have a small business set. 2019 and closed it at the end on 2021 because I drifted from what I truly loved and wanted to offer with my business. Finally reopened a couple months ago and couldn’t be more happy. Sometimes taking a step back for your self can seem like a failure but I saw it as learning about myself and business.

This is a really refreshing video BECAUSE you aren’t showing only highlights. I appreciate your transparency about sales and what your business stands for. I have also found myself with too many products and I’m like “Lacie… not every launch needs to have 10 new scents”. Keep up the good work 👏🏽 one thing I’ve actually stopped doing is sales. I quickly realized how many people waited for them to purchase and then it would be crickets for a really long time. If I’m getting ready to discontinue something, I now wait for the product to sell out or I just pull it (maybe saving it for a semi-annual. Who do I think I am BBW?) you’re doing great. Thank you for sharing! ❤

What I recommend you do is learn how to use Facebook ads so you can get your products in front of everyone. Also, stick to products that are relevant to what products you are selling. If you’re a shirt company or candle company only sell products that are shirt or candle related. Just a tip because your customers will be confused as to what type of store/brand you are.

You may have rebranded already since this is from the fall. But if your business is mental health based, your products should always represent that. Your candles should have mental health themes. Use the candle scents in the description but the name of the candles should have the same theme. Same with holiday items. They should always have a mental health saying along with skeletons, pumpkins and Christmas trees. Always stay in your niche.

Just wondering, why did you put 3 candles and 2 shirts squeezed into a tiny box, but put one candle in a huge box? 🤔 I know the 2nd order was a bigger candle but the packaging doesn't make sense to me.
@brennamandco Жыл бұрын
Hi Lin! I normally try and do smart packaging where I don't have to use much plastic! By using the tees to cover the candles in a small box, it made sure that the candles wouldn't move!

Hi Brenna! The egg is called a fried egg lol. I was wondering why you leave the Gildan tag if you're adding your own brand logo? Essentially you're promoting two brands with one shirt. Not to mention that your logo is under the Gildan tag. Gildan has been around for years being sold in stores. They are just expanding their business by letting ppl buy their products because they never sell shirts with a gildan logo on the front of an item like Nike would for example. It makes their product perfect for ppl who want to add a design to the front. Your items are really cute! Wishing you many sells and satisfied customers!!!
@brennamandco2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for the egg haha, as for the tag, I have gotten a LOT of hate in the past about cutting the tag out and people stating that its "illegal" to cut the tag out. I just leave it in there so that if the customer wished to cut that tag out they certainly can. I personally cut mine out as i hate the itchiness! Thank you so much for your input tho!

Gildan is a desirable shirt. My family looks for it in handicrafts we purchase. Yes, you should leave it if you didn't actually stitch the shirt together yourself.
