I just ordered a game boy advance sp and I’m so excited to hop back into the greats of Mario and donkey Kong

Lol when I read failed restoration, I thought it was gonna be broken and you were gonna turn it into one of those exploded/disassembled display pieces.

Sadly not tried to get a project one but was in just to immaculate of a condition to be called anything close to a restoration..

@@TYRANTH_ It happens. I just got a "broken" ps2 slim. All it needed was a fuse resoldered on the motherboard. Took longer to disassemble than it did to fix.

man I've wanted to get my hands on the original game boy as well but most of the ones I find being sold are outside my area and shipping is just not worth it but the one I currently have the advance sp is my treasured item from so long ago

Try japan I find they sell vintage consoles for reasonable prices Online

Ive seen a couple of restorations documentaries; most of them are fake and just cake it with fake grime beforehand

Yeah Didn't go according to plan but when all is said and done I got it for a really reasonable price and its in crazy good condition Heres hoping next time it actually is a restoration haha
