(FAILED) Trying to view the Rock Paper Scissors Splatfest results in 2024

I got sick the day i decided to record this, splatfested too hard :{! I had to rerecord the footage to accompany the vocals since i didnt hit record in elgato. Felt nice to make a video unscripted even if it was tiny short thing, im working on a longer video that im really excited to make about how casual splatoon has shifted!

Hopefully switch games have backwards compatibility with Nintendo's next console,, & that online for s2 & 3 can somehow be supported into the next console gen. Also if you miss playing Splatoon 1 i highly recommend checking out Pretendo! :D

@@Friendsare100 Well, the Wii U was backwards Compatible with Wii Online Play, and same for 3DS with the DS Online, yet those ended up getting shutdown too… the Wii U was in the Market for 2 Years until the Wii Online Shutdown, although both Wii U and 3DS Online lasted more inside the Switch’s Life, but still means they’re willing to shutdown old Consoles, even if they’re Backwards Compatible (Technically it was cos of the Company itself for the Servers had gone Bankrupt or something, not Nintendo’s Choice to shutdown) And yes, I have been using Pretendo ^^

Thx so much for this really insightful reply i had no idea the Wii U could play wii games online,, super cool!! I got a wii u some time after online services for the wii shutdown. Maybe there's a chance Nintendo doesn't revamp their online architecture yet again,,(one can wish)~ Them going from friend codes to NN and now switch online,, maybe we'll see ⚞new⚟ switch online XL Happy splattin'!

The official Nintendo twitter accoutn confirmed it will have backwards compatibility! So you don’t need to buy the next console if you don’t want to lol

@@LennyQUMFIF The only reason the Wii's servers were shutdown was because the server hoster went bankrupt, I doubt they're gonna take down the switch servers in a few years considering how succesful the console was.
