I found your video today because I just found out today that I failed and my exam shut down at 75. I used nclex high yield review which cost me $600 but they’re with me until I pass so that’s good. Right now I’m just going through videos of people that failed to convince myself that it’s okay to fail and not get so depressed.

Hey I’m willing to share strategies on how to pass NCLEX in just ONE TRY be it RN or PN we all need to pass. Send a message
@furwinner192 жыл бұрын
I took my PN EXAM April 12,2022. I Pass WITH 109 questions. Don’t be scared. Be positive and if you are a believer just live everything in God hands after your studies, Don’t lean to your own understanding you will fail. The importance is to pass and not the numbers of questions. I used UWORD and Mark klimek only to study. When I finished my exam my spirit was calm and I had that inside peace. You should have a plan for study and time to relax. NCLEX is just straight forward. Proverbs 3:5. April 13,2022 UPDATE!!!!! I went to Virginia board of nursing and I PASS. So since yesterday I didn’t check or use the trick for checking result. I just have faith by posting without knowing my result and trust GOD IN THE PROCESS. Glory to him.🙏🙏

Great video! out of all of the study materials what did you think you found the most helpful and BTW! can you disclosed the book your parents used? I am using Mark K , uworld , simple nursing, and Nclex High yield, I also have the ATI CONTENT REVIEW Book too. Also what were the tips you used while taking the exam? I am an older student and my anxiety is through the roof.. I have 30 days to study... TIA
@SiedmannSoltes2 жыл бұрын
I think in terms of knowledge, I probably found UWorld & nclex high yield the most helpful, but you have to make sure you have a thorough understanding of the main concepts. Also, parents didn’t have a book. It was mostly review packets from some review seminars I think they attended prior to taking it years ago. The main tip that I used was 1) not to focus on time and focus on the question because it’s better to have answered less questions and gotten more of those correct than answered more but gotten a lot less correct. If you know the concepts you shouldn’t run out of time before answering the minimum amount either. Another big one was asking myself “what is the question actually asking?” before looking at the answers. From that point, I would start from the last answer and work backwards to answer A. Essentially, if it was an A,B,C,D question, I would ask “Does D or C answer the question?” If I chose that D may be the correct answer, I’d move to ask “Does D or B answer the question?” And keep going in that manner until I have the final answer or at least the best two choices. I hope that made sense, but let me know if you have any more questions

It has been a few days already since I got my result but I'm already planning to take my 2nd attempt within the year. I failed today. 145 questions. I was the first to take it, and last to finish. All the others there finished really early. Once done with 145 the research questions popped up, the test admin told me to not to do it anymore. I dunno if i have the heart to re take again and i have to go back to work now since i stopped for a month plus coz i wanted to "concentrate" but i never was the type who knows how to study tho i can say i was a very good nurse back in the philippines. I just feel that i dont know how to study correctly and i went theu the whole month plus feeing that i did not know what i was doing and was just answer questions on uworld and writing stuff that i got wrong and thats it. Dunno if thats studying. But yeah. It sucks.

I'm sorry to hear. I definitely know what that's like, but try not to beat yourself up too much because it is a difficult exam. If you plan to take it again, just think about what went right and what went wrong with how you prepared, and adjust accordingly! But if not, then that's all right too

What were some of your test taking skills?
@SiedmannSoltes2 жыл бұрын
One of the biggest things I did was every time I read a question, I would ask myself "what is this question really asking?" in my own words before looking at answers. Then I would look at two answer choices at a time and ask "Is this answer the better option for what the question is asking or the other one?" and cross out answers until I only had one or two options for the best answer and make a choice then. This really worked for me because sometimes they add answer choices that are distractors, but if you know what the question is asking before looking at answers and you understand the concepts, you'll notice the distractors a lot easier
