The Vivace/Tograc has turbo damage simulation, if you hit it enough the turbo will eventually start generating "negative boost" and make the engine weaker, it only happens for that car as far as I know

My old seat leon FR diesel popped a hose from the intercooler driving home after getting a new clutch. Went from 170hp to perhaps 70. If the intercooler goes or a pressured hose to or from it you have a N/A car. 😁

The turbo died in a similar way to when Turbo's die in automation cars when you melt them haha. Possible that the trailer was putting so much load on the engine that it burned up the turbo? Especially if the intercooler was destroyed.

Ooh, this is an interesting change up to the usual DTD. I don't remember if I've ever seen you do this before. It also brings the unique detail of the fact that a car's ability to produce boost can break in Beam. I had _no_ idea that could happen before this episode. xD

I think the Vivace died from turbo damage and external engine damage. One recent update added that your ignition system can be damaged so that it will cut out sometimes or not have enough power to go above a certain rpm.

I am not sure as to which detail Beam simulates stuff, but if you loose the turbo in a diesel that is exactly what happens.. and a lot of smoke.. Mainly because the control computer decides to put it in emergency mode and you limp to the next highway exit.

The cherrier has this thing where it looses a lot of power when an axle gets bent. It’s also a thing with the rally version It may have to do with the smart awd/fwd system

I don't know if beam ng actually has a working intake and exhaust, but I would say the cherrier had a pinched exhaust or intake, limiting airflow at ever hit, and stopping the turbo

I think you lost your intercooler with the first car. That would make you have less power because it severed the link from your turbo to your intake. Combine that with lack of ground clearance then you get what you had.

I think the first car broke its turbo, then damaged the differential and was giving you 1 wheel drive with 50% power.

I think the reason it was slow was because there was no boost being given to the car, as the gauge on the side was stuck on -7.1

hmmmm.... So thinking about it, you could mark the cherrier down as Turbo / Engine failure. With the Turbo stuck it failed to get the right compression which then of course causes less engine power.

Did he forget to turn the ESC of on the first car? That could explain why it didn't put any power down. With ESC on there is almost no wheelspin, the same as the first car. (And the turbo was broken as well)

The first car still had both driveshafts but snapped the steering they do it all the time I find and the turbo is horrendous when the car starts to slow down

The car is going slowly because the wheels are rubbing on the bodywork and slowing it down because of the latest update. I is hard to tell because they haven't jet implemented a sound for tier on metal contact.
