What an incredibly smart and self aware human. This really helps me to understand a person who may be suffering from that kind of pain. Very healing to learn from her story. I’m even more interested to dive deeper into her music now. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability, Lauren.

I'm a huge fan of LP and figured the love of her life must be nice..first time seeing Lauren actually talking and I was right...she really is a very lovely woman. Wonderfully insightful and honest interview (my partner commited suicide and it is such a complicated subject to try and understand I just know that those left behind are never at fault..took me a long time to come to that conclusion mind you) .....

Her her is amaaaazing, like herself in an out. I was wondering what kind of technical steps were done for this wonderful result of her hair. Mine is short but wow, I could have her hair just for a week.

Great interview. My mother once told me that a person's self worth isn't measured by what they own, and I believe she's right.

This interview really made me feel connected to her way to see life, it was so natural, it made me cry when she talked about suicide because I was in a bad place too and my sister and best friend saved me, she's so spontaneous and mature I just love her so much 💕🌌

My Gooddnesss....I agree with her on so many levels...okay I do not want to be boring but I just have to say this. So, I do not like to admit it but I am a control freak like I gotta have everything in my power and just the way I want it. So when my mother got sick and when my sisters and I had to move to grandmas place, I was very confused. After a few months of not seeing my mom I started to wonder what the hell is wrong with her. And then they told me that she has cancer... I cannot even describe my feelings from that moment but mostly I was soo angry cuz they kept that a secret like I am her daughter I deserve to know that...But they thought I was still a kid (I was 15) and said I would not understand. I was s seeing her every weekend looking worse and worse but what hurted the most was knowing that there is nothing I can do to help. I talked less and less to people. I was closing in myself, and realized I do not even have real friends since noone wanted to know how I was feeling they just asked those boring questions like how is she blah blah....It made me even more mad. My teachers felt sorry for me so I could basically do whatever I wanted and get away with it. after a year my mother was sent home in a really bad state. She was told she just needed time to recover. I had to watch her like that at home. She lost 17kg in almost two weeks....she was skin and bone....luckily she is almost fine now....then my parents realized that I am not hanging out with anyone, I do not ask out, I do not talk much and stuff like that so they sent me to therapist which I did not like at all like I am not crazy or something....Last year I told them how I felt that year when it all happened, how useless and unimportant I felt....we are still trying to talk it through even though I am going to college in a couple of months....I am glad that I saw this video I feel like I am not the only one with lets say unique head....sorry if my english is bad (I am Croatian ^.^) thank you for reading...if anybody did....

Thanks for sharing. I believe everyone have their own story. Sometimes we feel like to share it out with others. But then the next question is "with whom we could share all of these". People with unique minds like us tends to hardly believe in people. Mostly we kept it for ourselves because we thought nobody could understand us more than ourselves. Anyway I'm sorry to hear what you've been through. Pray your mom will get better. And hope that you will feel better as well

@@icezhen2643 thank you so much! I keep getting misunderstood by people around me so I feel like the only place I can share my thoughts is internet (kinda stupid but I don't care). And living in a small place with not many people makes me craazzyyyy. They are all so conservative, they have their pictures of perfection and I don't fit in any of them. I guess that's why I don't have many friends. The only thing that's holding me in pieces rn is going to colege in big city. I can't wait to find more ppl like cuz I KNOW that there are ppl like me. Anyway thank you for your kind words it really really means a lot❤

@@ivaputica5250 Wow, I'm amazed by your mind. Not in a way that it's a strange or peculiar, but in a way that is so similar with my situation, and the way we think about these things that we are surrounded by. I am also from a small "community", where everyone knows what did I ate yesterday for lunch, or what did I say about something irrelevant, like months ago. I was also so excited about getting to see the new big city, and my University. I had this pleasant feeling that my life was actually going to start, then and there, that second I will be able to breathe and live with my dreams, which I have planned for myself. Like, I will finally be able to work on myself, with myself, without any judgement or "valuable lessons". Just me and my mind. I guess, I wanted to ask you, if you did get to college, if you like it, how are things, are you missing something from home, etc. I would like to know if we are still in similar situations, because I'm so happy that I have found you today, of all days, I needed this. What are you studying? Where do you live? And everything else that you want to share with me /if you do. 🙂

@@ZoeF.O so cool that we found each other!yeah I am going to college next year and I really hope that I will get a little bit more freedom to express myself the way I want and find some real friends. I think I will miss my dog the most haha he is the most important family member to me. I really hope that a lot of things will change. I am glad that I helped (if I helped). =)))

A great insight to the life and thoughts of this incredibly talented young woman. Who talks a hell of a lot of sense. Our pasts and 'failures' are what make us stronger and the beautiful individual person we all are. SM can be both good and bad and is influencing how our young people are measuring their failures in life. 😊❤
