Its so sad, to even talk about failures, he had to succeed, reach the interview and only then he could talk about it. Others who keep failing aren't even allowed to! They have to keep smushing 'Success' and 'Optimism' on their faces to stay relevant, because that's what is normal for us.

We tend to learn from successful journeys than their failures. If more than 10 lakh people are writing the exams, that gives us 10lakh ways to fail the same. Winning is important in life even when you fail in UPSC.

There is a sense of calm around Atish Mathur Sir that just makes you believe anything is possible. Very few teachers understand the intricacies of mental health issues aspirants face and if not understood, it makes the aspirant go back to his/her shell defeating the purpose altogether. There's only two teachers I could never ever question the integrity of. One is my English teacher from class 5 and the other is Mathur Sir. Wonderful talk! Bring more of these.

Thats bullshit, he’s taken money for an ethics course on his website which was meant to be in December He has still not uploaded the videos I’ve sent 7-8 mails I got a reply to one of them saying he’ll upload in next week but it has been a month since.. The least he could do is reply to the students and give a proper reason.. 0 integrity.. He even talks about it in this video how to students “gave it off to him” Yet he fails to have the decency to reply to us… The irony is that it is an ethics course.

Yes sir even the basavan committee has put forward many suggestions to bring reforms in the process like reducing num of attempt to 3 , removing optional (As some optional tends to discriminate over other n some subjects are no way goin to help in the journey) but the truth is nobody is givin a kick to make a change in letter and spirit!❤️Thank you sir! What an honest talk! Sir we really appreciate what you are doing. I often ask myself alot of the questions you asked in this video like how many attempts am i going to give, how much time should I invest, what are my actual reasons and am i the only one having these questions. But one important thing is even if we dont reach any solution, its so important to talk about it. Just knowing that I am not alone in this and its okay to have all these questions in my mind, gives alot of people like me a space to be at ease with it atleast. Keep up the great work🌻
